This early episode of our television series is introducing the WQQQ103.3fm radio station, its owner and staff, and announcing the new home for the L.A.Steel Liberal Talk Radio Show. We were one of the very few liberal talk shows in the nation on commercial radio in 2003, speaking out against the G.W Bush stolen election in 2000 and in 2004, and the neoconservative control of the media, that flooded the airwaves with calls for war against Afghanistan and Iraq, and ignored all the international courts, who indicted Bush for war crimes, and denied the national conspiracies of the G.W Bush government.
The country was brought to war by lies. We were grateful to Dennis Jackson the station owner, and Joe Loverro the Station Manager, to take a chance with us. We survived and thrived as one of the highest rated radio shows in our market area for 8 years. We began on air one year before AIR AMERICA in the New York and Connecticut Market and lasted one year longer then AIR AMERICA. The station was leased to NPR in 2011, and has broadcasted NPR since. Leila and I will always be thankful for the station’s support, allowing our liberal message of protest, and controversial, alternative news and interviews with nationally famous activists, politicians, authors and journalists . This program is a tribute to the integrity and courage of the station management, that stood with us against all of our local, state, and national critics, who wanted to silence us. The L.A.Steel Show In 2003 featured “People’s Action for Clean Energy” PACE , a Connecticut non profit organization dedicated to the promotion and development of clean, alternative energy. In this two part program we tour a solar home, an innovative Connecticut farm, and ride in a the first model Toyota Prius electric / gas hybrid car, and discuss other clean energy alternatives with the founders of PACE and other members of the organization on this tour seeking to promote alternative clean energy. The innovations in clean energy unveiled in this program were some of the latest technology and inventions, that catapulted the national movement to produce many other energy efficient products in farming , housing and industry, that we now take for granted in our everyday lives.
In 2002 the St.Laurence Cement Plant was proposed to be built on the Hudson River which would cause tremendous pollution to Connecticut and all of New England as well as the Hudson Valley in New York. A group of concerned citizens which included Actress Merrill Streep and other N.W Connecticut residents began a public protest against the plant, and I was asked to help them promote the issue with my television program. I invited Ned Sullivan the president of the Scenic Hudson and Ct. Atty General Richard Blumenthal to discuss the issue on my show .
Atty General Blumenthal in 2002 was involved with suing Ohio power plants for causing their pollution effecting the health and air quality of Connecticut residents, as well as populations in other New England States. Because of the actions of Scenic Hudson and Atty Blumenthal and all the concerned citizens, the Cement plant was never built. This is a great example of the power concerned citizens and activists have in fighting for the protection of their environment.
This program was created in 2002, after 9/11/01 when lack of security around the Millstone Nuclear Power Plant was the Coalition Against Millstone’s greatest worry, because no special security measures were taken after 911. Joe Besade speaks openly about the lack of security, and the “rent a cops” they use as security guards. Also a short video presentation that shows the dangers of nuclear power pollution effecting the sea life near reactors. In part two we meet and interview other leading activists of the Ct. Coalition Against Millstone members, who openly discussed their concerns with us.
I have created this 5 part presentation to commemorate the tenacity and dedication of the members of the Connecticut. Coalition Against Millstone. In 1996 a group of dedicated Connecticut activists forced the shutdown of the Millstone Nuclear Power Plant in Waterford, Ct. proving how unsafe it was and the fraud that went into building it. Joe Besade was the heart of the movement, as a Millstone whistle blower and former Steamfitter Foreman at the plant. Joe was the Archivist for the Coalition, and recorded thousands of hours of Nuclear Regulatory Commission and Dept.of Public Utility Control meetings regarding the plant. Joe also directed and co-produced a weekly television show on cable access in the New London area, to expose all the news and information about Millstone. In 2000 Millstone was sold to Dominion , an energy company that applied to reopen the plant. After some repairs and promises and millions of dollars , Millstone reopened against the protests of the Anti Millstone Coalition. This segment of the documentary is with Joe Besade, a great man ,with great courage. Two more segments to this documentary will follow with other members of the coalition . It was recently announced that Dominion is planning to permanently close the Millstone Nuclear Power Plant in 2018.

Elmer Erikson was a neighbor of mine, when he wrote his bestselling book ” Backyard Birding in the Northeast United States”, published by Seven Locks Press and still available on Amazon.com. Elmer was a landscape artist by profession and an avid bird enthusiast. He handcrafted the many birdhouses and feeders featured in this program, and discusses his research and his inspiration for writing his great book. Elmer brought a spiritual element to his writing of the wonder and beauty of birds, and how to attract them and house them in our own back yards. As Elmer’s neighbor I enjoyed our adjacent back yards seeing all the variety of birds attracted to his feeder and taking residence in his several birdhouses located in his backyard. One of my treasured gifts from Elmer is one of his handmade birdhouses. I am grateful that I can present his interview and program once again, to share Elmer’s book and unique character with a new audience. Elmer passed away several years after this program was broadcasted.

Ella Grasso’s advisory board and renown national poverty activist and co founder of Habitat for Humanity with President Jimmy Carter. Ned Coll ran for President in 1972 as a Democratic candidate and took part in the national debates.

I am absolutely convinced Donald Trump is completely unfit for office, and a Alt Right, Fascist White Supremacist Racist, as are all Republicans now in Congress. The Democrats are inept , cowards , compromised by their own criminal activities and and unable and unwilling to fight the Fascist take over of the U.S. They have no back bone to stand up against these horrid racists trying to destroy the lives and health of millions of Americans. Republicans and Democrats will not provide an economy or a country that will allow working classes a livable wage, while giving tax and income breaks to the top one percent of the population. Little is mentioned about the growing homeless population in the U.S. We hear about the low unemployment , but not that those jobs are real or can be filled by the current levels of educated and trained workers in the U.S. Unions are being broken, education is being destroyed, debt is crippling college students, yet Trump has threatened to end student loans, and allow vulture creditors to destroy people financially, refusing to allow bankruptcy for student debt. Unless All intelligent Americans fight back against Trump and the Republican and Democratic death hold they have over us, we will never be free of their two party tyranny.
I have never felt as betrayed by anyone in politics as I have by Donald Trump and his band of brain dead , cruel and inhumane administration, and the heartless, racist, sociopathic Republican Majority in Congress. These criminals should all be incarcerated , but no one in Government has the authority or the courage to go after them all. For Chinese and Russian leaders so willing to shake Trump’s hand and kiss his ass, while he continues to insult them and raise nuclear war tensions around the world, is proof that either Trump is insane , or all leaders of these super powers are insane as well, or Trump has sold out the U.S to Russia and China, for financial support for his struggling real estate empire.
I once believed a shake up of the U.S government by an Independent Presidential Candidate , would be a good thing, I and 62 million voting Americans could not allow Hillary and Bill Clinton’s corrupt, sick, criminal enterprise to have any control over the U.S Government. Under Clinton control of the Democratic Party, they were able to demonize and destroy all Democratic hopefuls , by epitomizing the hypocrisy of the entire Democrat Party, leaving the political prostitutes of Pelosi and Shumer, in leadership of the party. I have great difficulty understanding how emotionally and racially removed Alabama is from the remaining 49 states. Other politically conservative states seem to have less vocal hatred for minorities than Alabama. Perhaps Alabama should consider secession and Congress should insist on it. Maybe Alabama statehood could be revoked and let them form their own country, like Israel has and become an Apartheid state like Israel has become. A White Only State. Just like Israel is a Jewish State. Let Roy Moore or Jeff Sessions become President of Alabama. Imagine the Holy White Christian Alabama Constitution, that would authorize slavery, segregation, torture and death to all minorities, and remove all Alabamians from any and all U.S Government social safety nets,constitutional protections or U.S military defense, so the people of Alabama can be FREE from all U.S Government controls.
Only White Protestant Christian Alabamians would be allowed to work or own businesses or receive any state benefits. No minority would be allowed across its borders. A great White Washed Wall would be built around the state decorated with burning crosses and lynching ropes, with skeletons hanging from the nooses next to prominent displays of the Alabama and Confederate flags. What a country Alabama would become. Imagine the Alabama National Chamber of Commerce advertisements, would say, “Come to Alabama with a Banjo on your knee, and a rope in your suitcase, cause in Alabama we love to lynch people, and don’t forget to bring your guns and knives and baseball bats, just in case you meet any black folks or other minorities. We at the Alabama Chamber of Commerce make sure our members do not serve minorities or even white people with weird names. We don’t like any foreigners in our state either. Twice a year we sponsor a marathon with hundreds of thousands of runners who enthusiastically participate to chase a few minority prisoners who we release from our prisons just for the special events. Everyone of our great political and business leaders in the country of Alabama join in and lead the marathon chase. Our greatest politician Roy Moore leads the chases and the Great Jeff Sessions approves the prisoners’ punishment. Death by hanging is the most preferred punishment for any and all minorities, who are captured by the crowd of runners.
Instead of “electing” political leaders in Alabama, the remaining 49 states in the U.S will gladly give Donald Trump to Alabama, with no right of return to the U.S, since Alabamians worship and adore him they will grant him the presidency of Alabama, and designate him as Alabama’s new God and Supreme Leader.

Manute Bol was a Sudanese-born American basketball player and political activist. He played in the NBA for 11 years from 1985-1996 primarily for the Philadelphia 76ers. He was the tallest player in the NBA at 7ft, 8 inches tall. He was also a major advocate and activist for the Sudanese people, who had been under going war for 30 years. He gave continued financial and diplomatic aid to the Sudanese refugees and especially the “Lost Boys ” of the Sudan, over 20,000 young boys from ages 8-18 made the desperate departure from Sudan through the Sahara desert and wild lands seeking freedom from the war and genocide of the Sudanese Christians .

Did anyone notice their big smiles and handshakes in recent main stream news coverage of Trump’s Asian trip, while he and Vlad were wearing blue silk pajama tops ? They weren’t the kind of smiles and happy handshakes anyone would expect from arch enemies. No, good old Vlad Putin, loves and admires Donald Trump, they are both buddies and autocrats, as well as partners in Trump’s business ventures and Rex Tillerson’s businesses.
Trump’s long time security guard, who recently left the Trump Administration, was with Trump in Russia during the Miss Universe contest in 2013 and recently stated to investigators, the Russians had offered Trump 5 prostitutes. He said he laughed off the offer but didn’t tell Trump , but he didn’t know if Trump took them up on their offer, which is how the Russian Pee Dossier was disclosed , during the election. That dossier stated how Trump had at least one Russian prostitute urinate on the bed that Michelle and Barack Obama slept in during their Russian visit.

If Congress allows all of this to happen without a major fight , then there is no longer any hope or semblance of Democracy left in the U.S except, mass protests and revolution.

This three volume musical video was a compilation created in 2006 for the L.A.Steel Show as a musical documentary featuring artists in their live festival performances. Our interviews and recorded performances of indigenous flute player Joe Firecrow and blues artist Clarence Gatemouth Brown are very rare, and both passed away. Joe died early this year and Clarence Brown several years ago. This is a tribute to them and the other featured performers. My thanks to them for the privilege of their interviews and performances on my television show.

This was one of our earlier programs of the L.A.Steel television show, filmed in Salisbury,Ct. on Memorial Day 2001. We enjoyed this performance and have two more great shows with performances by the Morris Dancers, to be uploaded soon.
This was a tour of 4 conservancy gardens in Amenia New York, whose owners created beautiful home floral gardens, and created a yearly tour raise donations and volunteers for the continued beautification of Amenia’s Main Street, with potted floral displays. This was a noble example of community involvement caring for the beautification of their town. and a display of the gardener’s imaginations.
I had posted recently that I thought Special Prosecutor Robert Mueller was not going to indict anyone from his Russian/Trump administration investigation, and it was all political theater, but he proved me wrong so far. Yesterday’s indictments and arrests of Manafort, and Gage and the arrest and guilty plea of Trump’s campaign adviser Papadapoulos are damning enough to make Trump shake in his loafers, and Putin wonder when Mueller’s other foot will come down on his back.
The Russians paid off Hillary and her campaign chairman John Podesta millions, and sold Putin’s energy company 20% of a U.S uranium mine. I can understand Hillary Clinton’s treason and Barack Obama’s involvement with this deal, and all the dirty dealings between Loretta Lynch, Bill Clinton, and Barrack Obama . All of this happened under Mueller’s watch as FBI Director as did the entire 911 white wash of G.W. Bush’s domestic and international war crimes. I still do not trust the outcome of this Trump investigation to indict Trump and all of his cohorts, however it is a good first start, and I predicted indictments would begin to be filed before Thanks Giving. I can only hope more indictments are forth coming for Trump and all involved with Russian rigging elections.
I reserve my full congratulation until Trump is indicted, impeached and resigns, but until then I give Robert Mueller my heart felt congratulations so far, and hope I can send him a congratulatory box of candy and a dozen roses, when Trump and all of his treasonous staff , family members and Cabinet members are perp walked into FBI prisoner vans.
The Trump presidency leads as a child pitching pennies against a brick wall excited every time the penny turns up Heads. The child wins a penny from his opponent, but never gets beyond winning a penny contest, because he’s frightened to lose a nickel or a quarter from the toss of a coin against a brick building. The House and Senate are the brick walls, that Trump bounces his pennies against. His ideas are as bankrupt as a penny turning Tails. He can’t put through any idea or legislation that isn’t idiotic and bankrupt of value or morals.
Trump is pathetic. Pence is pathetic. Their followers are pathetic. The Republican majority in Congress are pathetic , paid off puppets of the 1% all pitching pennies as ideas, a penny is all Republican Policy is worth to the average American. There is little thought put behind anything Congress does. Their attempts at making sense of Trump’s ridiculous orders and stupid, brain dead bills have created a stalemate and division in Congress and Senate that can not be stopped. Most politicians are pitching foolish ideas loaded with racism, hatred, greed and stupidity. Look at the racist idiot that won the GOP nomination for Senator in Alabama., even the GOP doesn’t want him running, but for some reason the people of Alabama do want him.
I get no pleasure thinking about politics.. It is a gateway to insanity, trying to figure out what the hell is happening in Washington D.C, or even in state and local governments. The levels of competence in most politicians regardless of their office, is nothing more than that of children pitching pennies against brick walls hoping their pennies turn up Heads. I see no one on the political horizon that isn’t a penny pitcher. Most are penny pinchers as well as penny pitchers. The Republican ideas of cutting spending on every vital social safety net in the U.S is not only cruel , but like Trump they border on the psychotic. There is no doubt that Trump is a sociopath, devoted to the theft of U.S wealth and the subjugation and incarceration of every poor and working class American, and the deportation of anyone and everyone who is not an American citizen. The White Nationalism of Trump / Bannon stupidity and racism are raising the hateful hopes and dreams of every idiot in America, who believes that his white skin color makes him superior over every member of any other race.
It is time to recognize that the Trump and Republican legacies are nothing more than the foolish ideals of racism, hatred, greed and despair for millions of Americans and billions of people around the planet. The Democrats are barely better that the Republicans, and a Hillary Presidency would have been a disaster of complete incompetence, pitching pennies hoping they turn up Tails. Democrats don’t even realize the game they are playing, or how to win a penny toss.

I created a weekly television news and entertainment program for ten years, featuring many well known political and entertainment events with interviews with many famous music and political celebrities, as well as my featured documentaries. All signs seem to point to Special Prosecutor Mueller’s investigation may be a white wash of Trump’s crimes and treason and political theater contrived by the main stream media. There is little difference in Mueller’s method of investigation of Trump, than of 911 and Bush’s crimes, which were all white washed. Mueller is a crime washer, wasting time and money on a government cover up of Russian involvement in Trump’s companies and in his winning the election. How much more does Mueller need to indict the SOB? He has proof that Trump and his entire staff and family colluded with the Russians, to get financing for Trump’s insolvent companies and his presidential campaign. Documentaries and witnesses have been more than accurate and forthcoming in all of their findings on Trump’s involvement with the Russians for years.
What troubles me most about Mueller’s investigation is there seems to be no oversight and Mueller has a free hand in doing whatever he wants to , including denying access to damning findings requested by the Senate Intelligence Committee. The Trump investigation should be finished by Thanks Giving, or Mueller hasn’t yet found a believable excuse for claiming Trump and his Family and Friends innocent of all crimes and treason and obstruction of justice. If Mueller’s grand jury doesn’t indict Trump with all the information presented to them, by the Special Prosecutor, and the many reports by other journalistic and congressional investigations, then Americans and all people around the planet will know Mueller did it again, and white washed all crimes of Donald Trump, just as he did Bush’s crimes of 911.
Draining the Swamp might begin with the FBI, and Mueller, then Trump, and every incumbent Democrat and Republican . I become nauseous at the thought of Hillary declaring she won the election. I would rather see a cow in the Oval Office than the criminal enterprise of Hillary and Bill Clinton, but the Mad Cow occupying the White House presently must be removed asap, before his madness destroys the entire U.S government and begins WWIII.

Senator Bob Corker was correct in calling out Donald Trump and his chaotic White House. Trump continues to prove himself unfit for office in his compulsive tirades of absolute stupidity and moronic tweets. Most of his original staff have been fired or resigned and replaced by General Kelly approved replacements. The biggest farce and blow hard , former White House Aid Steve Bannon is proving to be as insane as Trump.He was fired for his noted racism and support of White Nationalists, after the Charlottesville riot, and for his Alt Right idiotic philosophy, as well as writing Trump’s UN speech, that insulted most of the world and made Trump look like a complete moron.
Senator Corker sees the impending danger of continuing the Trump presidency and is calling him out as a demented elderly adult, and his White House staff have created an Adult Day Care to take care of him. Today Trump announced that he will revoke the broadcast licenses of NBC and any other Network news operations that continue to insult him. Only an idiot would even consider making such an outrageous statement. By threatening the media’s right to free speech and reporting puts Trump in direct violation of the 4th Amendment, and makes him fodder for every news anchor and reporter in the country. That statement alone will create a media war against him not seen since the aggressive investigative reporting by the Washington Post of Richard Nixon, which led to his historic impeachment and resignation.
Trump’s tax bill will be soundly defeated , because of its complete stupidity and simplicity that awards all the One Percent like himself with ‘Yuge” tax savings, and adds 4 trillion dollars to the National Debt. No responsible Republican worried about the national debt would approve Trump’s tax bill, unless they are as stupid as Trump is. His cabinet members are as stupid as he is and are completely inept, and are now being called out by Congress and the American people for their horrible decisions.. If Congress passes this tax bill it will destroy the Middle and Working Classes in America , even though Trump blatantly lies when he says it will cut middle class taxes. Trump lies about everything.
Senator Bob Corker is absolutely correct in calling Trump a buffoon, and a demented elderly man needing adult day care, in a nursing home. The tragedy of Sen.Corker’s statement is that it is true of Donald Trump. It wouldn’t surprise me to see Donald Trump taken out of the Oval Office in a straight jacket handcuffed to a wheel chair cursing at everyone in sight. I wish America good luck, and God speed Trump’s impeachment and Mueller’s pending Trump indictments for obstruction of justice, corruption and treason.

Can there be any better proof than the above statement that declared the South’s contempt for Black Americans and their main reason for beginning the Civil War ? I believe I may have been an abolitionist in my past life. I commend those brave souls who stood up against the hatred and criticism of the times prior to, during , and after the Civil War to fight for the rights and dignity of Black Americans. William Lloyd Garrison is a hero of mine, his publication The Liberator, was the most hated news paper in the country during the times prior to and after the Civil War. Even great liberal thinkers during this time like Ralph Waldo Emerson were critical of William Lloyd Garrison, because of his harsh criticism of Americans for tolerating slavery.
I am amused yet disturbed by the recent NFL kneeling controversy. Nothing brings out White American Hatred more than a black man kneeling during the national anthem. The NFL players are American Gladiators, who entertain millions of Americans weekly by breaking their bodies and exceeding the limits of athleticism. For so many of them to be disparaged by “White Americans’ for expressing their right to Free Speech, is the ultimate in hypocrisy. No one is saying America is not a great country,nor are they insulting the U.S.A. What kneeling means in the NFL is calling a Time Out, to question a ruling, or to free catch a kick off without being tackled. I believe what the players are saying to America, when they kneel during the Anthem is Time Out, look what is happening in America to minority Americans under the blatantly racist Trump administration.
Black Americans are being unjustly shot or beaten by police for expressing their rights in protests, or being profiled by police for being Black Americans and falsely arrested or harassed without cause. If I were an NFL player or owner, I would also kneel in protest . Knowing what the real history of the historical treatment of Black Americans and Slavery is and what the Civil War was really fought over, should make most Americans pause to consider what they are demanding the NFL players and all minorities today to do, by standing during a national anthem, that was derived from a drinking song sung in bars during the early 1800s, and its lyrics were rewritten to pay tribute to a battle during the war of 1812, when slavery was still a major economic institution in the U.S, where black slaves were auctioned and sold to the highest bidders as cattle or horses. This was a tragic time in American History, but millions of deaths and many wars were fought over slavery both in the U.S and abroad.
Under the Trump presidency white racism has been revived as a political power and religion in the U.S. White Nationalism is a sick and evil monster, unleashed by Donald Trump and Steve Bannon, and the Alt Right Idiots, and the conservative media, who have been waiting for their moment to arrive again in history, when they can once again brutalize and belittle all Black and Minority people in the name of patriotism, as well as destroy any Liberal and Moderate thought in America. Unless Trump and his insane minions are stopped , America will be ruined and any gains won by the Veterans of our wars, and the suffering of the American people will be in vain. We must all kneel for a time out , to pause and think about who and what we are believing in. Either we believe in the God given equality given to all men and women of all races, or we continue to stand up to whistle and sing along to an unsingable song formally sung by drunks in bars during the 1800s, a ritual continued to this day as a patriotic reason to have another drink.
ALL LOSERS! No one in the Trump administration is competent to hold their positions. The only member of the Trump Cabinet who had any promise was Rex Tillerson, but now he is proving to be as big a Loser as all the others. If he for one minute believes that his intervention with No.Korea will prevent Trump from more stupidity and possibly war, he is dead wrong. Trump is a “Moron”. Rex was right. It must be unbelievable to work for such an incompetent idiot as Donald Trump. The only other cabinet member more stupid and incompetent than Trump is Jeff Sessions.
What a monster of disappointment and treason to all Americans is Jeff Sessions. His bigotry and racism are the focal points of his entire Justice Dept. Anti Gay, Anti Abortion, Anti Contraceptives, Anti Immigration, Anti Free Speech, Anti Bill of Rights. He is a pathetic fool who sold his soul to Trump for the chance to destroy the American Justice System. His reign of terror as Attorney General proves he is completely unfit for office.
Trump is so quick to call someone a “Loser” when he lied, cheated,and stole for a living, and now as President he continues his reign as The Biggest Loser and Liar, bringing the country to ruin, with his entire administration of Liars and Losers. Gen. Kelly has lost all credibility by his latest stupid act of using his personal cell phone since he began working for Trump. A four star general and now Chief of Staff for the President had his personal cell phone hacked. Who knows who hacked his phone and what information was revealed to the hacker.
The Impeachment of Donald Trump can not come too soon. The sooner the better for the country and the rest of the world. Every Trump appointee should be fired along with Trump. Unless this happens very soon, the U.S will become embroiled in a nuclear conflict with No. Korea, and economic and physical genocide of middle class and working class Americans, by his cruel and murderous health care bill to replace Obamacare, and Trump’s massive reduction in Medicare and Medicaid and insane public education reforms implemented by his incompetent and insane Secretary of Education. Trump never intended to “Drain the Swamp” he intended to drain the Treasury with all of his cronies, and destroy every safeguard and social safety net ,that protect the American people. Donald Trump and his entire administration are Liars and Losers and must be brought down. If Congress can not or will not , then the American people must.
Tom Petty and the Heart Breakers inspired me and many during the 1980s,1990s, and 2000s. I remember playing “Damn the Torpedoes” daily in my car to hype me up for work each day as I commuted 45 minutes one way during the 1980s .
