The Voice Newspaper of Winsted, Connecticut

The Voice News was one of the first all reader contributing newspapers in the country. They provided a weekly newspaper that was totally comprised of letters and articles from local , state and national readers, who expressed their opinions on different topics, especially politics. All submissions were edited then published. Jedd Gould was the founder of The Voice News in the early 1990s and continued its publication until 2003.

Contributors like Ralph Nader and other state and national politicians would write letters or responses to national and statewide news issues. I was a regular contributor to the Voice newspaper since 2000, and my weekly television series spotlighted The Voice News. At the time The Voice News had over 40,000 subscribers, and it was a free paper funded by advertisers. This show is the only video produced about the Voice News to air on television. The Voice was the first sponsor of The L.A.Steel Talk Radio Show, on WQQQ 103.3 FM.
