A flower has great power. It has color and scent, and grace. It has beauty, fragrance, oneness with nature and oneness with itself. A flower holds the universe in it’s most complex or simple design.
A flower understands its place and purpose in existence. A flower accepts its fate, regardless of the outcome. Its seeds are blown in the wind, its life takes root in all soils, its desire is only to live and thrive. It gives its pollen, or honey, nourishment, or water from the dew of it’s petals or stem. A flower smiles with the sun, cries with the rain , sings with color, dances to the rhythm of the earth and the melody of the wind.
I should be like a flower experiencing the seasons, accepting my fate, being useful to the world in the way I was created to be. If I were a flower I might be a weed or a solitary wild flower growing towards the sun. I would proudly display my colors, where ever my roots took ground. I would move with the wind, drink the rain,bask in sunlight and be content with my life. I would be aware, but not care; if I was picked, admired, or ignored by a passerby, harmed by disease, killed by frost, or uprooted by a storm. My fate determined by the seasons.
I have surrendered , to the great God of All Knowing, every ethical consideration I had regarding politics. I am overwhelmed by the sudden sense of relief , and individual, intellectual freedom I have gained. I had become too obsessed recently, with the political and social ills of this world. It is beyond the pale for any rational , reasonably well adjusted person, to spend any time what so ever , in the study of, or practice of politics.
The absolute irrelevance of politicians, has become grossly apparent ; especially when a person is asked to face the choices they must make, with regards to their pick for president, or senators or representatives. To equate one’s self, and the identity of the American nation, with the likes of Hillary Clinton, or Barack Obama, or (God forbid), Rudy Guilliani, or Mitt Romney or the absolutely pathetic, John McCain, is an abomination to the American spirit. The idiocy of the G.W Bush Administration is a slap in the face, not only to all Americans , but to the entire world. To think that the most powerful and wealthy nation in history could elect as as it’s leader a completely corrupt, imbecile,and a contemptable and corrupt congress is enough to make any rational thinking individual put up his hands in surrender, and completely back away from the American political system.
OH SAY CAN YOU SEE BY THE DAWN’S EARLY LIGHT…..the vanity of these fools who say they want to lead the nation. Lead us to where? I do not want to be lead anywhere that these parasitic, political, life forms want to lead me. I resist everyone of them who lie, cheat and steal their way to leadership in this country, or any country. I can no longer grant asylum to my political concerns. I have thrown them out onto the mean streets they came from. I do not need their banter and packaged promises , or fascist , socialist, capitalist, communist, or corporatist, ideologies. I am declaring my complete independence from any political ideology. I simply desire truth, competence, and compassion in all leadership. If these virtues are not apparent in some one’s character; then they are not worthy of my attention , and will receive none. I believe that anyone who harbors political ambitions is either a vane fool, or a con man.
So let all crumble and fall. Be certain that I will no longer worry about; who or what is running for any elected office. I honestly don’t care. In America as in most countries, all elections are rigged. The fairest elections happen in countries with no elections. At least under an overt dictatorship everyone understands they don’t have a choice. Under the “Democratic” tradition everyone thinks they have a choice, but don’t. The decision is made for them long before the candidates are announced for any office. This is the truth dear reader. I can not apologize to you for speaking under the influence of my new found freedom. It is a marvelous feeling. I strongly suggest everyone experience it by simply,casting out of your mind all concern and thoughts of politics and politicians. Remember that politics and politicians are responsible for most of the social ills in society. Good politicians, peace makers and ethical reformers, die young by assassins bullets, or accidental plane,or car crashes.
This year the price of political favor is $2300.00. State and local reps can be bought off for much less. If you have the money to waste, and want to spend it on entertainment, throw a party for a politician, set up a stage , higher a strip club dj for the event , and instruct all your guests to bring a small stack of single dollar bills; instead of their check books. Invite more than one politician, female and male, and let each give their speech with the background music of “Sexual Healing”, or “Super Freak”, as your many guests stuff their dollar bills in their favorite politician’s thong. I can vividly imagine Hillary on stage gyrating, while talking about universal heath insurance. I can see Barack Obama as a lady’s favorite, giving lap and table dances, and favoring all the ” Liberal , Boomer Babes ” at the party. Throw a Sno Ball for Guilliani and other Republican bisexuals. No one really cares any more how politicians raise their money. Word on the street says you can buy these guys and girls real cheap.
Politics are irrelevant to any rational thinking individual. I suggest that before anyone gives a second thought about their right to elect their representatives to government, they should first think about the weather, then work, and then give a few thoughts about one’s family and their well being. If after all of these, far more important thoughts, have been given adequate consideration by you, and you have a few free megabites of your mind left to consider politics; then by all means do so, just keep it light.

It is a difficult situation to be in to want to warn people of the danger that is over their heads, and few people are willing to listen; even when they see the the problem with their own eyes. No one wants to believe their own government would authorize the complete destruction of the atmosphere for military, or population reduction purposes however; that is exactly what is happening. I refer my readers to The Global 2000 government report issued by the Carter Administration and signed off by the Reagan Administration in 1981. This report was authorized under Jimmy Carter and conducted in great part by Z.Brezinski, Carter’s National Security Advisor and co founder of Trilateral Commission with David Rockefeller. The report was later under the guidence of Henry Kissinger.
The Global 2000 Report was a government report that evaluated the problems of over population by the year 2000. Many areas of human population reduction were studied. One of the methods of global population reduction was weather modification and bioweapons, to be used on certain concentrations of the global population. The U.S was one of the countries chosen to conduct the assault on it’s population. A copy of the report can be seen by googling Global 2000 Report. Wikapedia has a brief explanation.
The goal of those who implemented the program was to reduce the global population by three billion people by 2000, and further reduce the global population by two thirds by the year 2050. The report cites numerous problems; that will occur once the human population exceeds the capacity of the planet to provide for all it’s human inhabitants. Aresol spraying of bio weapons has been engaged in since the early 1960’s in the U.S. Published reports released by the Freedom of Information Act,and declassified by the U.S government, state the areas of the country these tests were conducted. The main stream media has not and will not talk about this issue. No weather service will permit this information to be released , or be investigated. All the evidence of Chemtrail activity throughout the globe has been compiled by independent researchers, and spoken about through independent radio, video, and cable television programs. Congressman Dennis Kucinich coined the term ” Chemtrails” in his bill The Space Preservation Act of 2001, bill H.R. 2977. In the bill he defines Chemtrails as an exotic weapons system, along with other systems, such as laser weapons, electronic, phycotronic or information weapons, plasma, electromagnetic, sonic or ultrasonic weapons, and high altitude ultra low frequency weapons systems.
There is no confirming government agency that acknowledges this program however, there is a new bill in the U.S Senate, that authorizes the use of Weather Modification programs. This bill is designed to simply approve what has already taken place illegally since 1998, when chemtrailing, and weather modification experiments began.
I have spoken of this on my radio show many times. I have mentioned it to hundreds of people personally, and I have written about it. As I sit here in my study, I am looking out my window and see a silver cloud of fog enveloping the entire landscape. This fog has been upon this area for the last three days. On Sunday of this week some of the heaviest chemtrailing ever witnessed in this area was reported to me by many local observers. I have seen the planes, and heard them overhead. I have witnessed first hand the loss of sunlight and blue skies, because of these chemtrailing planes. I have cursed them, and all who cause them. I have cursed myself for not speaking out more loudly and more often, on the destruction of my world’s atmosphere, and for the billions of men women and children, who are suffering from this man made physical assault upon them. I can no longer be silent on this issue. The murder of billions of people, and the destruction of the global ecosystem is happening before my eyes. Increases in air borne deseases are at an all time high , severe upper and lower respiratory ailments, lime disease, aids, tuberculosis, hepititis, cancer, the list of diseases is endless. The CDC or Center for Disease Control is doing little or nothing to combat these diseases, or warn of them, as money for research is cut by the Bush Administation and Congress. Little or no news is mentioned about these biological plagues that kill hundreds of millions of people every year throughout the world. There is no mention of the tainted vaccines, medicines, and birth control methods; that kill or sterilize millions of women in the developing countries. There is no mention of the reasons for the mass murder of millions, by government sponsored genocide, and pre-emptive wars, authorized by U.N resolutions. There is no mention of the poisoning of the air and fresh water supplies by mining and drillling companies, or lumber companies,and the theft of billions of gallons of fresh water from reservoirs, national reserves, by the corporations, who bottle water for resale. Millions of families around the world are being evicted from their ancestrial lands and forced onto less fertile, less sustainable lands, to face oppressive poverty, starvation and death.
It is time now for someone to take a stand not only for the preservation of the planet , but for the preservation of humanity. I can no longer stand by and allow this to happen without taking a stand against it. No one can. Those who read my words will either act upon what they have read, or ignore it. They will take a stand to save their own lives and the lives of their families, or they will shrug off any personal responsibility and laugh at, or ignore this warning. I suggest to all who read this to listen to the interview with Clifford Carnicom this evening on this website, at 8pm. E.S.T . , but most will not. Most will not look up in the sky on any given day and see the lines of poisonous white and silver plums that scar the sky. Many will simply ignore it all, not look up for fear of what they will see, and walk on, or go inside their homes, close their doors and shades and not deal with the reality; that they and billions of their fellow world citizens are being systematically murdered by their own governments.
In my recent interviews with spiritualist Kenneth Ackly we discussed the concept of ” Knowing without Knowing”. Essentially this concept relates to the unconscious knowledge possessed by all . The obstacle to our ascension of consciousness is our own ego. The self conceived illusions of who we are and what we are establish the boundaries of our physical existence and conscious awareness.
Every human being in existence lives in two realms of consciousness. The conscious and the subconsious . It is the subconscious realm that dominates our emotional and spiritual lives. The decisions we make and the actions we take dictate and create our physical existence. Few of us listen to our subconscious. In primitive and ancient societies the subconscious was considered superior to the conscious mind. Dreams and visions were sacred signs from the Creator. Prophets and shamans were the seers and leaders of their societies. High priests offered sacrifices to their god, or gods to grant them great visions of the future or visions and insights to solve problems. Billions of humans still do this daily in meditation and prayer. We try to bring to the forefront of our minds the visions, or council of the divine. We are born into this physical existence with a preternatual knowledge of our spiritual origins, yet we spend our entire lives seeking for the connection to divinity, that is already within us.
It is the main deception and the illusion of this world; that it’s foremost inhabitant Man, is goaded and tempted away from himself by seeking all that is outside of himself. Man inherently knows, that he is created by some greater consciousness than himself. Man inherently understands his connection to this world, and also to the world beyond death. He witnesses the death of friends and loved ones and understands, that he too will die, yet he clings to his faith and conscious understanding of hope and dream, that extend far beyond all known physical evidence of existence . Man believes in his spiritual existence without empirical proof it exists. He knows without knowing, that he is an immortal spirit and a child of his creator eternally connected to the One. Each individual will eventually return to the Oneness of their being. This will happen, when the ego dies and the self is merged with the unself. This will happen, when the conscious merges completely with the subconscious, and all polarity is disolved into the Oneness of being. This is what we all know without knowing.
The time in our evolutionary process has arrived, when the two minds of our existence merge into one. We already feel the beginning effects. We sense an awareness of light, that reaches far beyond our own physical ability to see . We are more sensitive to the power of light and all that it brings to us. We are more distrustful , more repulsed, by all who are not of the light. We are wiser in our discernment of good and evil. We telepathically communicate with our fellow beings by our intuitive awareness of their joy or suffering. We are reaching for a truth,that has elluded us for millenia and is now close within our reach. We are breaking through the gray cloud cover of the conscious mind into the clear, blue Oneness of Infinity.
We have all seen the face of the One. He stares at us daily from above the clouds. His white and golden rays warm the earth and invigorate our bodies and minds. The One is our guide in the morning and reflects his brilliance upon the moon and stars at night, to guide us in the darkness that must come.
Foolish men try to veil the face of the One. They cast artificial clouds of pollution into the skies and spray plumes of aluminum particles and Baruim from planes. But the One still sees all , it knows all and it continues to smile upon the oceans and fields and cleanse and renew the world.
The One is above and below, within our bodies and within our souls. The One renews and revives faith for the future as it continues to rise on the horizon every morning and when we open our eyes.
When the darkness comes as it alway does, the light of day no longer shines. When clouds become more stagnant and storms more fierce, the warmth of the One is first to be evicted by the cold.
Look up into the sky when it can be seen without clouds. Look up into the blue of infinite light. Look up into the warmth of the One, when darkness invades the mind. Look up and demand all who we know to look up into the sky as well. Look up and see the scars of man made clouds and lines and patterns of deathly design.
There is a great evil rapidly emerging on earth , so vast it now darkens the global skies. If all people would simply look upwards at the sky; instead of downwards towards the inevitablitiy of their demise, and ask the One to return the skies to blue and rid their world of evil, this he would do.
Consider for a moment all the special friendships you have shared in your life. Consider the closest relationships you have had or still have with a friend or relative. As you consider these friendships consider also why the bond might have been broken , or why they may be sacred to you. The path to friendship is the same path to Brotherhood. Brotherhood is a collective rather than individual consciousness. Brotherhood is an idealic state of mind, that encompasses all of mankind, though it is initiated in the individual and pursued by the individual, for the greater good of his own existence and that of Humanity.
Regardless of the conditions each of us live under there is a bond that we all have in relationship to one another. This bond is evident when we hear of another person’s hardship, or other countries and cultures that exist under oppressive governments, or are suffering harsh and brutal lives from starvation and hopelessness. We all understand the intitial concern , shock or uneasiness we feel when we see another person suffer. That feeling we have is the universal connection we have to all humanity. It is the pulse and flow of common blood rushing through our veins that sense danger, caution, and concern. It is a psychic and intuitive concern that haunts our daily lives, though we go about our business and conduct our affairs as best we can, within the protected confines of our own knowledge and wisdom, the high and moral defenses; that protect us from outside harm, or inside threats of dispair and depression or feelings of hopelessness.
When we see a child in need or suffering from neglect or abuse, most people will immediately come to the aid of that child. Most people with a common thread of human concern will call the authorities, intervene the best that they can to try and protect the child from further harm or abuse. Is a child so different than and adult ? Are adults not also abused or neglected or lost ? Why can we not feel the same concern for an adult as we do for a child ? Perhaps it is because we fear that adult ? Perhaps we try to ignore and walk passed a homeless or suffering person, or try not to think of them, because we are intitially repulsed by their condition, and fear their unpredictablity or possible insanity, or prejudge their condition without knowing the circumstances that brought them to the desparate state they are in. We may say to ourselves , “but for the sake of God go I.” I have said this more than once, when confronted by homeless and destitute people on a street. I have been unable at times to help them, financially or emotionally, but I have said a silent prayer for them and asked the universe to grant them the peace of mind and blessings I have received in my life. The greatest gifts from the Universe, that I have ever received were the abilities to understand my present reality and obtain the knowledge needed to succeed in manifesting a safe and sound reality. The homeless are homeless , because they can not embrace a vision of anything other than what brought them to homelessness in the first place. Their vision could be the euphoria of drugs, the bitter memories of spousal or child abuse, the collapse of their company or business , extended unemployment, physical or mental illness, the death of their loved ones, or loss of their family . The homeless veteran often has an overwhelming sense of shame, or guilt and suffers from Post Tramatic Stress, having seen his friends killed or blown up in front of them. Being forced to murder another human being in war and self defense or their being responsible for the callous killing of entire families, villages, towns,\or cities. The karmic effects of these attrocities are immediate and crippling. The effects can render the veteran , helpless, aimless and in many cases drug dependent, or severly emotionally or physically wounded.
There is an existing brotherhood. Its existence is proven by the moral and inherent desire of all men and women within the Brotherhood to reconnect our bonds to one another, for the greatest good of ourselves and our fellow men and women. Each step we take upon our narrow path towards achieving universal compassion , and wisdom leads us to greater heights on our progressive ascension . As our individual consciousness ascends we gradually cast off our pain and suffering, fear, or worry because our collected knowledge and wisdom allow us to manifest a sacred reality. As we ascend to the summit of our potential as individuals it is our duty and utmost responsiblity to show others the way . Our path should not remain narrow and kept secret. It should become a highway for many to ride and walk upon . We can not fear that too many people will follow or accept our message or our aid to them, because all pathways to ascension are regulated .The Brotherhood is not for all . Brotherhood is only for those who share the desire to understand and achieve the highest and best of themselves and those around them. Friendship and charity can only be given to those who will accept it. It can not be forced on someone, nor can it be appreciated by everyone ; unless they are ready to become a brother or sister to all others. Can a true initiate of the Brotherhood of enlightened beings ignore the suffering of another less fortunate than themselves? It is an impossiblity . A truly enlightened being and member of the eternal brotherhood has a fraternal bond with every man, woman and child in the world. It is the responsibility of every member of the Brotherhood to share their gifts and their lives with all who are seeking or struggling on the path to enlightenment. These initiates are eagar and hungry for the knowledge and wisdom we can provide. These initiates are the fledglings under the care of the Brotherhood, and Hierarchy and must be nurtured not ignored or abused, or humiliated, or left in the darkness to await their release from a self imposed prison.
The Brotherhood of Man is real, it does exit. The Brotherhood is not exclusive or made up of wealthy elitists or mysterious magicians. The Brotherhood is comprised of men and women from all cultures, all economic levels, all levels of knowledge. This is The Brotherhood. If we accept initiation in the Brotherhood we become obligated to help mankind on its journey to enlightenment, and allow ourselves to be taught the lessons of living and ascended Masters, to guide us towards the fullfillment of our destiny.
I never understood the biblical statement of “Blessed are the meek.” It never made any sense to me, nor did most of what I was told were the words of Christ. I always believed that these statements were less than divine and made up by men who wanted to keep their own power and control over the masses. ” Blessed are the meek ” was one of those statements that I was certain was made up by the Roman Catholic Church. What better way to dominate an entire group of people than to insist that only the meek in a society are blessed. Does this mean that the strong are cursed ? NO!! Shouts the Protestant faithful. “Yes, I mean maybe, or perhaps.” Whispers the Catholic faithful.” “ABSURD!” Shouts the rational , unaffected Universalist. Strength is a blessing , the Strong will always rule the earth . The Strong will always win battles and wage battles against an aggressive enemy, or they will dominate a passive population by instituting government to tax or punish all who disobey their rule. The Meek are fools and prey for the Strong. That is human nature, and nature itself.
A single individual can not rule over others unless the others allow the individual this power. It is absolutely foolish to allow one person or a small group of people to be given so much power over the lives of so many. For many to allow an individual to have power over them is the greatest mistake commonly made by Humanity. Every individual has an equal amount of power to influence another individual or group of individuals, until an individual gives his power away. That power is the authority to make up his own mind, and live his own life unhindered by the dictates of others. Once one person gives away his or her own power to another person, the other then has the power of two and one has no power. This can be done infinitely until one individual has collected the power of an entire nation or the collected power of everyone in the world.
I believe that I am my own President, Congress, and Supreme Court. I am the leader of my own Church. I make the decisions that I choose to pursue my life. If I wish to grant any power to someone else then I loose that power and authority. I will never give away my moral, political , or physical authority to anyone. I will bow down to no human authority. I will not allow another person , or group of persons to dictate their laws or their hypocrisy or insane philosophy to me. I do not care if they are insistent that they are right . If they are right then why do they need to dictate their demands . If they are right then I will agree with them. If they are right then the universal truth will show itself to me and I will accept their thoughts, but on my terms as they relate to my life.
These statements may sound arrogant or unrealistic to some however, those who believe as I do will agree with my statements. Those who do agree with my statements are not of the family of Meek. They are of the family of Strong. The Strong must at times submit to certain oppressive laws issued by other Strong members of his society, because they are pursueded not to rebel , or contest the rule of others , because it may favor their individual circumstances, or the power of the Stronger is more powerful than their own. A ten foot tall 400 pound Man has a definite physical advantage over a 160 pound 5 ft 10 inch man in a battle. But if we consider the courage and cunning of Ulysess used against the Cyclops or the courage and accurate aim of David used against Goliath, these historical or mythical confrontations confirm the possiblity; that one individual can overcome any physical inequity, if an individual refuses to believe victory is impossible. Every adult individual has been given a unique ability to overcome the obstacles in his or her own life. It is up to that individual to accept , develop and use that ability not give it away, or allow it to atrophy from lack of use. Unfortunately their will always be the Meek because Nature creates preditors and victims. Natures highest creation Mankind is the only inhabitant on Earth ; that has the ability to discern the difference and has the moral capacity to defend the helpless.
Indifference is the greatest thief. Indifference of one’s own surroundings steals the strength and eventually the soul of an individual. We see millions of people wandering the earth going about their daily lives aimless and indifferent to others. We see callous and cruel people attempt to swindle and steal and destroy others to gain money, power or status. We see horrid crimes committed by men and women and children, who have lost all reason and sanity due to their sense of helplessness, and the desparate need for control in their lives. These crimes are committed by the Meek who have been pushed to the limits of their tollerance. Pushed to the extremes of desparation, because they have nothing else. Their ultimate indifference to life and their defiance against their own existence, leads them to suicide or end the lives of others. The mass murders committed by these individuals in our current culture are testaments to the growing desparation of the Meek in our society. One single individual has the power to exterminate dozens if not hundreds of other individuals from this one senseless act of self hatred. If his victims were not preconditioned by their society to cower to a stronger individual; they would defend themselves against the killer with a clever strategy or simply by brute force. Those victims would not have been victims. Even if one Strong individual stood up to the killer to protect himself and others he or she may have survived the assault and saved other lives. The Meek are always the slaughtered. The Meek are always the victims. The Meek become the slaves.
It is time now to stand up to all who oppress or threaten us. It is time to take back our collective and individual powers to stand up and take control of our lives , our communities, and our governments. Indifference is our greatest enemy. Our enemy is not standing next to us or opposite us , our enemy is within us. It is us. Indifference is ignorance, and ignorance creates victims. The Meek who will not stand up to defend themselves or anyone else are those who say “I do not want to get involved.” I don’t care what happens to anyone else as long it doesn’t happen to me.’ Who is George Washington? ” Who is Dick Cheney?” “Who is my neighbor ?” “What is a constitution ?” “The Pope is my spiritual leader” “I only believe what I am told to believe by my church and my Government.” “I love this Kool Aid.” Genetically modified food is so good for people .” I love the smell of car fumes and smog in the morning .” I will never be a victim; unless I am a victim to myself ,unless I choose to allow myself to be beaten , imprisoned, misled, enslaved , killed, poisoned, or cannabalised by someone else. Do I have this choice ? Everyone has this choice. Everyone either chooses to be a victim or to be a defender of the victim. History and our own experience have taught us, that it is always better to be a defender. Defenders may meet Death , but only once. Death will come to a victim three times , first by shame of cowardice,second by humiliation of slavery, and third by ultimate destruction.
I hope everyone everwhere has at least one Best Buddy. I have been fortunate in my life to have a number of friends, but of all of them a few truly stand out over the years as Best Buddies. The following is a general short list of L.A. Steel’s Best Buddy requirements.
1. They generally share the same vices.
2. They generally return your phone calls.
3. Regardless of what you ask of them they generally try to give you a straight answer, or fulfill your request.
4. They generally share the same political views.
5. We are always happy to see other.
6. With the exceptions of their health, wealth, or family obligations, they always accept your party invitations.
7. Regardless of who or what your “better half ” is , they try their best not to insult them or recommend separation or divorce; unless they have been physically or verbally assaulted by them.
8. They generally forgive all of your offenses or personal faults; because you forgive theirs. (That is always a hard and fast rule of a good friendship.)
10. They will attend your funeral if it is at all possible for them to do so.
11. Best Buddys never send flowers to each other; unless they are botanists or women .
This is a general list of Best Buddy requirements. All Best Buddies usually have to meet certain requirements mentioned, or not mentioned on this list to qualify for Best Buddy status.
It is only my opinion , but deciding on a Best Buddy Birthday Gift is extremely difficult. If the Birthday Buddy is a great friend of yours, then no gift really seems appropriate except remembering their birthday with a phone call or a card. If they are the kind of friend that expects something more ; then the gift must be something of a more personal nature. Maybe a pet ferret, or a gift certificate to the VIP Lounge for a belated birthday lap dance; these can be appropriate gifts for either gender, depending on the age and attitude of your Best Buddy.
I am grateful to my Best Buddies over the many years for our shared experiences and conversations. A Best Buddy of mine from many years ago once quoted to me a passage from a poem ; that he partially remembered . He could not remember the name of the poem or the poet either. As we sat on the wharf of his cottage, one Sunday afternoon; after speeding across the lake at a 100 miles an hour, he said, ” Friends are like flowers, some are colorful annuals and some are perrenials, but true friends are like oak trees planted in our front yard. ” Neither of us really wanted oak trees or had oak trees in our front yards; because they clog up gutters, drop acorns, and are a mess in the fall . In consideration of each others time , tastes, and dislike of continually having to clean our yards, we preferred to think of ourselves as tall evergreens planted in each others’ front yard.
So if you are in a quandry about what to get a Best Buddy for their birthday, consider an evergreen for their front yard, or if they don’t have a front yard , get them a potted evergreen shrub, that they can place in a window.

In the vast constant of industrial activity man becomes engrossed by the accumulation of wealth. Regardless of how insignificant the amount of money earned, it is the foremost concern of an individual. One dollar or one million dollars is the reward for someone’s ingenuity to accumulate or earn his expected compensation. Oh, that I should be able to earn unlimited wealth without the toil of industry. But that is impossible. For every dime earned a dime’s worth of industry must be completed. It is the just and universal “Law of Compensation”, that directs the ebb and flow of commerce and industry. We accept our just or unjust rewards as we accept our fate. But there is luck, and there do exist people who have defied fate and won.
A man or woman who is unfairly paid for their work either accepts their fate or fights against the injustice. I have never been paid less than I was worth to my employer. What ever the compensation was I was generally glad to be paid. Only once in my working career was I ever unjustly treated for the amount I was paid. When I was Twenty years old I worked odd jobs for a temporary job service, I was attending college during the normal school year and finding work during the summers. Every morning at 6 AM, I would have to be at the job service office to apply for a job, since the majority of jobs were one day only. Some could lead to a week or month depending on how well the assigned company liked you. If you had a car it was a definite plus, however on occasion I was often asked to transport those who did not have transportation to the job site. It was an odd crew of men and women , mostly men who applied for and received day jobs in construction or factory work.
I remember an older man named Henry, who had a drinking problem, but managed to stay sober until lunch time. After lunch he was dangerous to work with. Henry and I had gotten a temporary assignment for one week’s work at a metal recycling plant. Henry did not drive, and did not have a license, I drove him to the job site each day. The pay was one dollar an hour above minimum wage which at the time was $2.00 per hour. $3.00 an hour was almost respectable. Henry was very happy to get the assignment, and so was I. A full week or 40 hours at $3.00 an hour was enough to pay my rent for the month , buy food, gas and still have enough left over for a six pack or two of beer. This was great wealth for a 20 year old college student. It was also great wealth for Henry who was a 60 year old indigent .
Each day I would pick up Henry at the job office and we would go to the recycling plant. Henry had been assigned the job at the plant before and said it was a great job, with little supervision and the bosses left you alone as long as you did your work. I wasn’t aware of exactly what type of work it was since the job was classified as Laborer. Henry explained that it could be anything from crushing metal to sweeping floors, but he hoped it was the metal crushing job, because he enjoyed that. I asked old Henry how he became in need of temporary work , to which he replied, “ Don’ t really know, just lost my real job one day and never got another full time one. “ I can remember his statement to this day, because of the grim tone in his voice and the sudden nod of his head as he seemed to try to shake the memory out of his head.
The first day on the job we arrived at the recycling plant before 7:00am. The job started at 7:00 and lasted until 3:30pm with a half hour lunch break and one 10 minute break in the morning and one in the afternoon. I remember walking into the recycling yard, seeing car frames old steel and girders and metal appliances strewn throughout he fenced in yard. Henry led the way into the foreman’s office as we reported for work. The foreman met us with an indifferent smirk and said ,”Hello Henry , am I going to get a full day’s work out of you today?” Henry smiled sheepishly and replied,” You always get a full day’s work from me.” The foreman did not respond and handed us a form to fill out. We filled them out as we leaned against his desk in the small office. When we finished he led us into the metal yard and showed us a metal crushing machine designed to crush and compress small to midsize metal objects. Henry had worked it before however I had never seen a machine like it before, and reared back at the size of it, and the deepness of the opening of the crusher. Our job was to throw into the crusher all the metal we were supplied. A bulldozer pushed the metal parts and pieces up into a large mount next to the crusher and it was our job to sort the pieces by size and type of metal, aluminum , steel, or tin.
Our first load was all aluminum cans. Thousands of them. I threw them into the crusher while Henry pushed the button and released the safety lever. Henry would smile with glee each time he pressed the button and released the safety lever as we watched thousands of cans being crushed and formed onto a block of metal. At 10:00 am we took our first break and sat on the platform leaning up against the railings. I had a thermos of coffee and Henry bought a Coke from a vending machine that stood outside the foreman’s office. I was already tired from loading tons of metal into the crusher, and Henry was staring silently at the deep opening of the crusher. We said little to each other except for an occasional nod of recognition, while we both contemplated the seemingly endless amount of metal waiting to be crushed, as the bulldozer started up its engine when our break was over. We both knew it was important to keep busy, and not look like we were slacking. We both wanted to keep the job for the week, and we had already spent the money, in our minds.
I could tell Henry was worried, but he said nothing as we began to work again. He swept in the loose aluminum cans and wiped his forehead with a dirty handkerchief. He looked tired, but as soon as the crusher was full he released the safety and pushed the button and a smile came over his face as the last hour of work was crushed and compressed . He gave a shout as the process completed as if he was releasing some inner beast, as he gazed over the completed crushing, like the world of his demons was destroyed and put in its place. He was the Crusher King, the man of the minute, he stood back away from the opening and lit up a cigarette. I joined him an lit one up as well. We had worked hard that morning, throwing the twisted metal into the crusher. It seemed like tons of metal had been carried away that morning and we were both pleased that we had accomplished something worthwhile. Henry said,” That stuff is going to make more cans, and cars, and whatever else it can make.” He had a sense of pride in his voice and stature. He stood up straight for the first time that morning and looked at the sky as though he was victorious. I couldn’t understand why he was so happy until the foreman came up to the platform and said,
”Great Job Henry , you are really putting up a head of steam today. This new kid is working out well with you.”
Henry looked down at the foreman, who was standing on the ground next to the base of the crusher. He smiled at the foreman and said,
“Yep, the kid doesn’t talk much but he’s a steady worker.”
The foreman replied,
“ I’m glad we got him for the week. At the pace you guys are going we might clear this place out . Take a break you guys deserve it.”
I knew we were staying busy all morning, but I didn’t realize how busy we had been. The forklift driver hadn’t returned yet for the next load, and we rested until he came back. It was good to know I was likely to keep the job for the rest of the week, and Henry beamed as if he had been given a promotion. That was our first day, we had four more to go. I told Henry to take it a little easier in the afternoon, because it was beginning to get hot, and it was going to reach into the high eighties. Henry laughed and said ,
“We’ve done almost a whole day’s work and it ain’t even lunch yet. We’ll take it a little easier this afternoon.”
I hadn’t realized how much we had accomplished. As I worked that morning throwing metal into the crusher, I was off in another world. I was thinking about the previous weekend when I made 20 dollars doing pencil portraits of people in the park. I charged 5 dollars each with a cardboard matting. I had only drawn 4 pictures all afternoon. It was easier than lifting metal, but business was only good on weekends, and several other artists were competing with me. Another artist worked in pastels and charged 7 dollars a portrait. He was also better than I was, but 7 dollars in those days was a lot of money, 5 dollars was a lot of money. Each portrait took me 15 to 20 minutes. Few people could sit much longer , and children sitting had to be a very quick draw. If it didn’t look quite right I’d charge $3.00 and threw in the mat. It made them happy and gave them something to take home. As I daydreamed about other ways of making money, my body was into auto pilot and I kept throwing metal into the crusher. I didn’t realize then , that my body knew more about industry than my mind did.
As the afternoon progressed the heat began to rise and sweat poured off my forehead , my hair was wet, and my shirt was soaked. Henry’s side of the crusher stayed shaded until mid afternoon, when the sun heated the metal platform and the heat reflected off the steel rails and metal floor. It felt like 100 degrees on the platform by 2:00pm. Henry was showing signs of exhaustion, while I was about to give up , when the yard whistle blew for break time. There was a 5 minute wait in line at the vending machine to get a cold soda. The yard workers were al l in tee shirts and sun burned, I kept my shirt on so as not to burn. Henry never took his off either. Another hour and a half before quitting time, and no one was sure they were going to make it through the rest of the day. The foreman gave us all a few extra minutes after the whistle and stayed inside his air conditioned office for most of the afternoon. Henry watched him as he went inside and said, “ Good Job boys, now get back to work.” It was then that I felt the futility of what I was doing. It was impossible to continue the pace of the morning , and everyone in the metal yard was laying back. If you didn’t get the hint and continued to work hard, you were a fool. I was 20 years old, most of the men were over 35, and Henry was nearly 60. I wasn’t going to pick up the slack, nor was I going to die of heat exhaustion. I found a shaded spot under the crusher, and Henry joined me. He said he couldn’t do much more in the heat but to watch for the foreman. As the workers slowed down, and the heat rose into the high eighties the yard had come to virtual stand still. By 3:00pm no one was working and several men were in the foreman’s air conditioned office waiting out their time. Henry and I were fortunate we had hustled in the morning, because the foreman didn’t bother us as we slowed down to a snail’s pace.
We managed to limp along until 3:30 as the whistle blew. Henry said we had to stop in the foreman’s office and get our paper work and ask him about us working the following day. As we entered the foreman’s office he told us to close the door and sit down. He smiled at Henry and said, Henry I’m glad you’re back , this kid is working well with you. Then he looked at me and said,
“You did a good job today, I’m going to keep you on for the rest of the week if you want the job.”
I looked at him thankfully and replied;
“Yes, that would be great.”
Then he said,
“I think I’ll leave you with Henry tomorrow , and then put you on something else for the rest of the week. One guy is out on comp this week and another guy had to take a leave.
Henry and I agreed and took our paperwork and returned to the Job Office. We told the secretary that they liked us and we had the job for the week. She said the company had called and requested the two of us for the week. I patted Henry on the back and told him I would pick him up the following day, then went home.
The rest of the week went well and I was paid that Friday afternoon. I was relieved that the job was over and could never see myself doing it for a living. The tedium and physical exhaustion , and insecurity were enough to make anyone drink, smoke, or overdose from boredom. I had done many menial labor jobs in the past, but I was determined it would never become my career. All I wanted was to get through the summer with enough money to survive, until I went back to school in the fall. I had a student aid job at the college and tutored Art and History. All I knew how to do was work for someone else, draw , and play the guitar. I couldn’t live as a starving artist, or starving musician, or starving student, and wondered if anyone could. All my artist and musician friends were working other jobs or going to school. For some reason we all existed on hopes and dreams, that kept our stomachs and wallets empty , but our minds and hearts full. Most of us were happy, and creatively productive, except when we worked our other jobs.
Everything that exists in commerce must be sold, or exchanged. Without these essentials no money can be made. If we sell our work as artists or musicians we must become salesmen or hire salesmen to sell our work. Salesmanship is the grease that keeps the wheels of industry moving. Selling what someone wants or what someone needs. Salesmanship and Industry work hand and hand, without a product a salesman has nothing to sell. Without a salesman no product can be sold. This was my first revelation of industry, when I became a salesman. Not a great salesmen, but a good one. There were several other incidences of industry that I had to experience before I saw the light, but the one that brought me to the greatest understanding of human injustice and the need for labor rights and laws, was several weeks after working for the recycling plant. I was still working day jobs and the job service was assigning me work everyday, because I was reliable and had transportation. One day they had a construction job and needed three men, I was asked if I would drive the other two to the job site. I agreed since we were all at the same place going to the same job.
The job was at a subdivision of houses whose grounds needed to be mulched. I had never done this type of work before or operated a mulcher. It was a large tractor like machine that mixed up dry mulch with water that was sprayed onto the ground with a six inch diameter hose. The two men I drove to the site were both middle aged, Joe was a black man in his late forties and Pepe was Puerto Rican . Both had been working day jobs for several years, neither had licenses or owned a car. Pepe spoke broken English, and Joe was a humble man that life had treated harshly. He smiled a lot for no apparent reason, while Pepe was very quiet.
When we arrived at the job site, we were met by another crew of men who were assigned to another section of the subdivision. As we approached the company trailer we were met by a short husky man who said he was the supervisor for our crew. He was very dark Hispanic man , and later I was told by Joe that he was Cuban. As we stood near the trailer as the Cuban man spoke in a heavy Spanish accent, as he pointed to a pickup truck and said” Eby one git in truck.” He pointed to several lawn rakes laying together on the ground next to the trailer and said, “Take rake.” We each took a rake and climbed into the back of the pickup truck. As we drove to the house that needed to be mulched Joe said to Pepe and me,” Watch out for this guy, he’s a real ball buster.” I asked what was wrong with him, to which Joe replied, “I don’t know but he can be mean, just do what he tells you to do.”
I asked him what set the guy off, and what did he do that was mean. He replied,” He likes to ride you. Just do what he says and don’t give him a reason to get on your ass.”
My reply to Joe was, “ No one has the right to ride my ass.”
I put out a fair days work, but no one was going to work me into the ground, on a dirt covered yard. Maybe I was too on my guard when the truck stopped, but I could tell immediately by the way he ordered Joe to get on the mulcher and spoke to Pepe in Spanish, then gave me a dirty look and told me to “follow them.” I had a bad feeling that I might be in for a very long day. As Pepe started up the tractor Joe got on the top of the Mulcher and told me to hand him a 50 lb bag of mulch that was laying on the ground next to the Mulcher and to pile the 10 other bags on the tail gate of the machine. I lifted the bag up to him as he opened it and began to poor the mulch into the mulcher, then he told me to bring him the hose that was set up on the side of the house to pour water into the mulcher to mix the mulch. I handed the hose to Joe after he poured the mulch into the machine. He mixed the mulch to a certain consistency and said,” Ok, you take the big hose and start to spray the yard evenly as Pepe drives the tractor back and forth along the yard. Then we rake the mulch evenly over the whole yard.”
I had never run a mulcher before , and didn’t think handling the six inch wide hose would be a problem. As Pepe started the tractor and Joe started the mulcher, I was standing behind the mulcher holding a six inch wide 10ft long hose , waiting for the mulch to pour out of it. As Pepe lined up the tractor into the first sweep Joe opened the spray duct and I held the hose as green slime forced its way out of the hose and onto the ground. The flow was thick and slow at first but as the mulcher ground the mix with the water it loosened up and began to spray with greater force. I had difficulty trying to hold the hose as the Cuban was watching us. He began to shout “ Hold it out and side to side!” Then he shouted at Pepe to drive the tractor faster, and for Joe to keep filling the mulcher, while I handled the hose. The force of the mulch coming out of the hose was hard to handle and I could not keep it pouring in straight rows, until the Cuban ran over to me and started to curse at me in Spanish. I had no idea what he was talking about and could not hear him over the noise of the tractor and mulcher, then I yelled at Joe to stop the mulcher . Joe thought something was wrong and shut the mulcher down, until the Cuban began to yell at him not to stop the machine. As I put the hose on the ground to try and hear what he was saying, Joe started up the mulcher again and before I could pick up the hose from the ground a large flood of mulch was released directly at the Cuban, who was turned away from me waving his hands at Joe and Pepe telling them to keep going. As Pepe moved the tractor forward the hose jerked upwards and blasted the Cuban all over his back and head. I tried to pick up the hose and redirect it but the pressure was too great. Joe saw what was happening and shut off the flow valve as the Cuban began to yell and scream at me at the top of his lungs. “Stupid! Stupid! Idiot! Idiot !” As I saw his anger and his entire body covered in green mulch I began to laugh hysterically. I couldn’t help laughing at him, then Joe and Pepe began to laugh, as the Cuban kept shouting at me in Spanish.
The Green mulch covered Cuban foreman, started to wave his hands up and down , while directing his anger at me and continued to yell,
“Stupid, Idiot, you fired, go, now!!!”
I didn’t know what to say except begin to laugh at how ridiculous he looked. His head and face, and entire body was covered in green slim. He looked like the” Swamp Thing”. I was still holding the hose and put it down. I tried to apologize to him but he would not listen. He then said , “Get out , you are fired!!!”
I turned to look at Joe and Pepe and said, “Can you guys get a ride home? If I’m fired guys I’m not staying here for the day to take you back. The green guy will have to drive you back.”
I had only been on the job site for an hour. The foreman wouldn’t let me use the phone to call the job office, so I said goodbye to everyone and walked off the job. As I walked away I heard Joe say, “Hey wait up, I’ll come with you. I ‘m not walking home.”
It would have been better for me to keep walking away, but I didn’t and turned around. Then Joe jumped off the mulcher and told the slimed foreman that he didn’t have a ride home and he couldn’t stay unless he had a ride. Pepe stopped the tractor and got off . He waved at me and walked over to where we were all standing. He spoke to the foreman in Spanish, then looked at me and said, “I come with you too.”
As Joe and I began to walk towards the street, where I had parked the car, Pepe followed us as the foreman shouted,
” You go now you not get paid.”
None of us cared , It was more important for Joe and Pepe to get a ride home than to work for the day. The subdivision was 15 miles from the Job Service office, and Joe and Pepe knew they couldn’t trust the Forman to drive them back. When we did not turn around the foreman shouted,
“ OK none of you are fired.”
He realized he had no one left to work for him, and if everyone quit or was fired, the Job Service would not supply anyone else, and possibly discontinue the contract. He was up the creek without a paddle and covered in green mulch. Joe and Pepe looked at me and Joe said,
“You still gonna leave?”
I replied, “I don’t trust him, he could still screw me over before the day ends.”
Joe asked,
“This guy is jerk, but If we are willing to walk off the job, I think he will back off the rest of the day.”
Then the foreman said,
“Go to work or leave, I don’t care.”
I looked at Pepe who remained quiet, and said,
“Do you guys want to stay?”
Pepe said he would stay if I did, and Joe agreed. I told them that I would stay, but if the bastard gave me any trouble I would leave. They both agreed and we turned back towards the mulcher. The foreman said nothing and walked back towards the house, as we went back to work. Pepe and Joe had done this work before and worked for the same foreman . I didn’t want to lose a day’s wages nor did the others, and we thought the foreman would stay off our backs if we threatened to leave. We went back to work and began to mulch the yard. The lawn was over an acre, and needed to be completely seeded. We finished the yard just before lunch and only saw the foreman once. He left to change his clothes and stayed in the construction office most of the morning. After lunch he was back in full swing and insisted we took too long to do the first yard and had to have two more yards done before the end of the day.
By lunch Joe , Pepe and I had put in a hard morning’s work, but we lost almost an hour of work time, because of the dispute, and a 15 minute break. After lunch the foreman was in no better mood than he was that morning. Now that we had worked half a day , he thought he could push us that afternoon. He started by yelling at us to start. I slowly got up off the ground where we were sitting when he said,
“You, smart guy, work faster. “
I gave him a dirty look and said, “What?”
He stared at me as though he were going to fire me again, but said nothing. As Joe got up from the ground the foreman said to him,
“Go faster , need this done today.”
Joe didn’t respond and looked at me and grinned, and whispered to me.
“Ignore the guy. We’ll work at our own pace.”
Pepe got back on the tractor as Joe climbed onto the mulcher. I stood on the back of the mulcher as Pepe drove the tractor and us to the next yard. As we began to mulch the mulcher became clogged and we had to shut it down to clean it out. The foreman saw we had stopped and ran over to us shouting , “Get back to work! No breaks now!” Joe shouted back at him,” The Mulcher is stuck, we need to clean it out.!”
Then the foreman replied, “More water! Put in more water!” The next yard did not have a hose and we had forgotten to bring the hose from the other house. The foreman was angry that we had forgotten to take the hose and shouted at us, “Stupid, why didn’t take the hose?” Joe was embarrassed for being called stupid and looked at me saying,
“Go back and get the hose from the other house, we need to refill the mulcher. I thought we had enough water in it , but it must of settled during lunch. I’ll keep trying to free it up with this stick.”
Joe grabbed what he called the Mixing stick, and tried to break up the clog, as I went to the house next door to get the hose . The subdivision consisted of 15 homes, all in different stages of completion. Three were completed except for the lawn seeding and some minor landscaping. Water was supplied to the three completed houses. As I walked across the yard, the Foreman began walking towards me, He was waving his arms, and shouting,” Back to work, go back to work!” I shouted to him that I needed the hose connected to the other house. He then shouted” Stupid, you Stupid.”
I was getting annoyed at his calling Joe and I stupid and walked up to him and said,
“ Why are you calling me stupid?”
He looked at me and replied,” You are stupid. Why didn’t you take the hose with you before, or fill up the mulcher before you went to the next yard? “
I told him the mulch had settled during lunch and got clogged and needed more water. He began to wave his arms and shout,. “ This job must be done today! Must be done today.!”
I laughed at him and said, “You call us stupid and expect us to keep working for you?”
His face became flush as he said,” You trouble, too much trouble, mister smart guy, no more you after today.”
I laughed at his flustered attempt to intimidate me and replied” No more me today. I quit.”
I threw my work gloves at his feet and began to walk away, when I saw Joe running across the yard. He saw I was pissed off and leaving and didn’t want to be left behind. The Foreman began to yell at Joe for leaving the mulcher, but Joe ignored him, and shouted, “Don’t leave without me!”
Then Pepe shut down the tractor and ran over to us saying “I go with you. “ It was about 1:00 pm and we had put in more than half a day’s work, but we all knew the foreman was going to bust our asses the rest of the day and it just wasn’t worth the aggravation. I could see Joe was tired, as he wiped the sweat and mulch off his forehead. My shoes were covered with mulch and wet, and my pants were also wet from handling the hose. I was ready to clear out of there and so was everyone else. As I began to walk away towards the car Joe and Pepe followed . Joe began to laugh at me and said, “Man no one has ever handled the Cuban the way you did. You are a hero.” Pepe stayed silent for several moments until I asked him if he was Ok. He looked at me sincerely and said, “I hate that guy. I need the money but I feel good we are leaving.”
We all walked down the sidewalk in front of the three houses until we got to where I had parked my car. We could hear the Cuban yelling at us “YOU FIRED, YOU NOT BE PAID!” I stopped for a moment and turned around to look at him. I yelled back, “YOU’RE FIRED, YOU WON’T BE PAID. IF YOU DO NOT PAY ME I WILL SUE YOU AND YOUR COMPANY!!!”
With those words the Cuban started to run down the sidewalk towards us waving his hands in the air shouting, “YOU FIRED, GET OUT , YOU TERRIBLE WORKER, GET OUT !!!!” As he began to run towards us Joe said “ Shit, let’s get out of here. I’ve never seen that guy so angry, he might hit you.” I laughed and said,” I hope he does then I own the bastard.”
I unlocked the car door and Joe got in the passage side front seat as Pepe got in the back seat. I watched the Cuban for several seconds waiting to see if he would keep running towards us , but he stopped when Joe and Pepe got into the car. He knew we had all had enough , and he knew he was in trouble. He would have to explain to his boss how he lost 3 men and couldn’t finish the rush job. He stood stupidly looking at me as I waved to him and got in the car. As I sat in the seat Joe began to laugh as he looked at the Cuban standing on the sidewalk staring at us. Joe then said, “ He’s fucked. We’re fucked too but he’s really fucked.” I told Joe, we did the right thing. No one has the right to harass and fuck with us. “
As we drove away the Cuban stood still and watched us. I was certain he would call the Temp office and complain. Joe said, “ What are we going to say when we get to the office?” I replied that “We just tell them what happened.” Pepe then said, “ They won’t like it. We worked there for many days and put up with him. Many times I wanted to leave, but I had no car.” Joe said, “Yeah, he is a real prick, he even made us skip lunch one day and gave us one break. I’m glad you left him standing there, I’m glad I came with you. Fuck that Cuban bastard. There are other jobs.”
I apologized to Joe and Pepe for leaving , but I told them I had no other choice. They told me that the guy I replaced didn’t come back after his first day. The Cuban ran him ragged, but he didn’t get angry like I did. They asked me why I was doing day labor, and I explained that I was doing it during the summer and was going back to school full time in the Fall. Joe looked at me and did not reply as Pepe said, “ That’s good, you never have to do this work again.” I told him I didn’t mind working , I just refuse to work for someone who disrespects me and treats me like an animal. Joe nodded in agreement and said,” You’re right you know. He was a bastard and had no right calling us stupid, and putting us down. No one has to take that shit.” Joe continued ,” I worked for a man once who kept me down so I wouldn’t ask him for a raise or time off. My X wife told me I was his slave, and to quit my job. I couldn’t quit cause I thought I had no where else to go. I had been beaten down by him for 10 years, breaking my back with no insurance. I guess I was stupid.”
I asked him why his marriage broke up, to which he replied, “ She didn’t respect me anymore, and I didn’t respect myself enough to quit my job and do something else. I had a kid and a lot of bills.” I asked him when did he finally leave his job, to which he replied,” After my wife left me. I hit the bottle a lot back then and one day I couldn’t take her bringing me down anymore and hit her. I had never hit her before, but she hit a nerve in me where I couldn’t go down any further. I couldn’t be disrespected like that by my own wife. It was the last straw and she had it with me. She left the same night and went to stay with her mother and took the kid. We never got back together after that, and she served papers on me at work. My boss brought the sheriff over to me while I was working in the factory and smirked when the sheriff served me the divorce papers. That fucker was laughing at me, like I was a fucking loser. I had been down so long I decided to finally climb out of the cellar and told him to fuck off. He then told me to get my stuff and that I was fired. The motherfucker fired me in front of the sheriff; after 10 years of hard , honest work, the same day I got served divorce papers. What kind of a prick would do that?”
I asked Joe if the guy was still in business , Joe replied “Yeah he’s still there, but you know I’m glad I’m out of there but I wish I had enough guts to quit long before he fired me. He took the last of my self respect when he did that. He had to prove that he was the man. He hated blacks and Hispanics but he hired them cause white men refuse to work for shit wages and bad treatment. He had his brother working with him who was the foreman . He was a prick too but not as bad as his brother.”
I asked Joe how long he had been without a job. He replied,” Too long. I haven’t had a steady job since then. My wife took the car, and what little money I had saved, and I had child support so everything I make extra beyond rent and food goes to them. She works, but it ain’t enough with the kid.”
He paused for a moment and started to grin. Then he shook his head and began to laugh. I asked him what was so funny, and he replied while still laughing. “I can’t get that picture of the Cuban covered in green slime out of my head. That was the funniest fucking thing I’ve ever seen . He was so damned mad I thought he was going to bust a vein. “ Pepe began to laugh too, when he said, “I tried not to laugh at him , but I laughed to myself all day thinking of him in green slime. I don’t think I will ever forget that. It was so funny.”
As they were both laughing at the image of the Swamp Thing, I began to laugh with them. The thought of the Cuban standing there covered in green slime was a hysterical sight . His jumping around and waving his hands while calling me and idiot was really very, very funny. To this day over 35 years later the image is clearly fixed in my memory. I never saw Joe or Pepe again after that day. The job service sided with the company against us . I felt responsible for getting Joe and Pepe in trouble and took the blame for walking off the job. As it turned out the Cuban didn’t have a problem with Joe and Pepe walking, his complaint was specifically against me. I tried to defend my position but to no avail. The construction company was a big account for the Job service company and one day worker’s harassment complaint wasn’t worth the loss of a big contract. The secretary patiently heard my defense and said she would tell the boss about it, and he would decide what to do. I knew I’d likely never get a job with the service again, but gratefully she did cut me a check for half a days’ wages. It was a wise move to pay me that day to avoid a complaint to the Labor Dept.
It was already late August and school was starting again in a week or so. I had enough money to hold me over until my student aid tutoring job began in a few weeks. I took the last 2 weeks off and enjoyed the remainder of the summer. I was satisfied with myself that I had the stamina and courage to walk off that job. That action was a definitive moment in my life, though I didn’t realize it then. A few years later I saw the trait for what it was when I quit a corporate job. Suit jobs or menial jobs are all the same regarding bosses and your own self respect. How much will you put up with? How much will you take? How much stress can you live with before it destroys you? We can only take so much pain and punishment, so much stress until its weight crushes us, so much disrespect and lowly expectations that we are no longer human or humane. This is what the masters of industry forget. This is what governments forget . This is what slaves forget. They all forget that every man, woman and child has their breaking point. That definitive moment in their lives when thy must make the decision to leave an abusive situation and take charge of their lives, or accept the emptiness and dread they feel as part of their life, and never expecting things to change or get better. A person’s life long work can not effectively produce anything admirable or effective if it is produced by slavery. Industry depends upon integrity of employers and employees. Honest and fair dealings by both parties will always generate he most productive work environment. This is why Google and other innovated companies take so much care and interest in their employees. Their CEOs understand that a happy employee is an asset to their company from a productive standpoint and a creative stand point providing new input in innovation in product and personal job enhancement. I wonder if the Cuban ever learned this lesson.

As the year 2010 began, citizens around the world were still in shock and anger, appalled at the arrogance and collusion of their government leaders and the audacity and greed of the world Banksters, as bonuses in excess of 100 million dollars were given to several Wall Street executives and their subordinate employees, who were responsible for the economic collapse of 2009. These bonuses were paid for by the American taxpayers. Employees of Goldman Sachs, who were the greatest culprits in the fraud of the Sub Prime Mortgage Backed Securities fraud were so frightened by threats of hatred from the American People towards them that extra security measures were taken at the firm and employees were advised to buy weapons. The U.S Congress in its fear of bodily threats from their constituents, once the bonuses were announced by the media, called for a Claw Back Bill that would tax all Wall Street bonuses at 90%. This bill never cleared the House or Senate and was quashed by the Obama Administration due to the great influence of Goldman Sachs, who’s former CEO and the creator of the Sub Prime Mortgage Backed Securities and Derivatives Plan which caused the collapse was none other than Hank Paulson, G.W Bushs Secretary of the Treasury. Also Goldman Sachs was the largest individual donor to the Obama Presidential Campaign and many of Obamas chief financial advisors were and are former Goldman Sachs executives and lobbyists with large financial stakes in the continued solvency of Goldman Sachs. Americans were outraged over the fraud involved in the financial bailouts of major banks and corporations in the U.S and Europe, that supposedly protected the collapse of the world economy, and nationalized the ownership of several of Americas largest corporations, AIG, General Motors and Chrysler. The fraud involved with TARP has been proven by numerous financial and legal experts, news reports and a newly released highly acclaimed, independent documentary entitled “Inside Job”. Allen Greenspan the former chairman of the Federal Reserve has gone on record as stating that a great fraud was committed by the Wall Street banking and investment community. Bankster executives from Goldman Sachs, JP Morgan, Bear Sterns, Merrill Lynch, Lehman Brothers and many others of their ilk were found guilty of, but not punished for outright fraud, by investing against the exact same investments they were selling to the general public.
Instead of legal prosecution and punishment, they were given a congressional slap on the wrist and kissed with trillions of dollars of taxpayer money, awarded to them by TARP and the financial rigging by the Federal Reserve with their lending 3.3 trillion dollars of U.S dollars to foreign banks without the approval of Congress. “European banks took big slice of Fed aid”Foreign banks were among the biggest beneficiaries of the $3,300bn in emergency credit provided by the Federal Reserve during the crisis, according to new data on the extraordinary efforts of the US authorities to save the global financial system. The revelation of the scale of overseas lenders borrowing underlines the global nature of the turmoil and the crucial role of the Fed as the lender of last resort for the worlds banking sector.
However, news that banks such as Barclays of the UK, Switzerlands UBS and Dexia of Belgium borrowed billions of dollars at favourable terms from US authorities may further anger critics already enraged about the Feds rescue of Wall Street&. When Ben Bernanke, Federal Reserve Chairman, was brought before a televised congressional hearing to answer for his rash actions, he stated that he could not tell anyone where the money was sent to for fear of a worldwide financial collapse. The Congressional Finance Committee reluctantly accepted his answer and no more was said about the theft of two trillion U.S dollars. Banksters around the world received extraordinary bonuses by the Federal Reserves theft of the U.S taxpayers. Also the TARP Bill passed by the House and Senate and approved by then President G.W Bush and President Elect Barack Obama did not stipulate who the recipients would be of the TARP monies or declare what the money they received was to be used for. It was later discovered that over one billion dollars was awarded in bonuses to Wall Street banksters. A law suit was filed by Bloomburg in 2008 for full disclosure of the TARP recipients, so far as of 11/2010 there has been no formal mention of the status or outcome of that law suit. The estimated cost of the entire financial bailout as of July 21, 2009 reported by the Associated Press and MSNBC .com was 24 trillion dollars. It was also reported in an article by Paul Watson on Prisonplanet.com that Henry Hank Paulson G.W Bushs Treasury Secretary was, & one of the chief architects of the bailout and the man who committed financial terrorism by threatening the Congress with martial law and food riots if they didnt pass the initial TARP package, brazenly pockets $200 million in Goldman Sachs profits tax free while handing out billions in ill-gotten gains to his bankster buddies, all this after he pulled a bait and switch by changing the entire focus of the bailout from buying up toxic debt to giving money directly to financial institutions.
As a Congressional comeback to this outrageous action Congressman Ron Paul a Republican from Texas submitted to the 111th Congress H.R. 1207: Federal Reserve Transparency Act of 2009, amending title 31 of the U.S Code to allow a full audit of the Federal Reserve. This bill is still in the House and has gained substantial support, however it has not been officially voted on. In an article by Raw Story.com posted by Daniel Tencer on 7/25/2009, he states The Federal Reserve- the quasi-autonomous body that controls the USs money supply is a Ponzi scheme that created bubble after bubble in the US economy and needs to be held accountable for its actions, says Eliot Spitzer, the former governor and attorney general of New York. Eliot Spitzer was also quoted as stating, ” The most poignant example for me is the AIG bailout, where they gave tens of billions of dollars that went right through conduit payments- to the investment banks that are now solvent. We (taxpayers) didnt get stock in those banks, they didnt ask what was going on- this begs and cries out for hard, tough examination.
Other countries economic collapses have been staved off or are eminent. In 2010 Greece, Spain, Ireland and Portugal have been placed on the IMF watch list for insolvent nations, as was Iceland in 2009 when the Icelandic government resigned. In 2010 France imposed severe austerity measures, which caused a nationwide strike by its unions whose members wages and pensions were threatened, and their retirement age was raised from 60 to 62. In England it was reported in 2010, that the Queen of Englands housing allowance for Buckingham Castle and her many other estates was cut by the British Parliament. Reports from several of England’s newspapers stated that the Queen was closing some of her estates and keeping the temperature in Buckingham Palace as low as possible, causing the Queen and her family the inconvenience of wearing sweaters. British newspapers and the BBC have reported numerous violent protests by the British people and especially students, who oppose the tripling of college tuitions. The European Union is coming unglued as country after country is facing severe austerity measures and high unemployment, and the Euro currency is becoming destabilized due to the near insolvency of so many European countries. As we enter a new year and decade more financial and political bad news is expected by all international economic forecasters. Some forecasts are expecting a complete global economic collapse that will cause total worldwide financial devastation, great food shortages, wars and marshal law instituted in many now democratic countries throughout the world. The price of gold and silver have sky rocked to over 1200 dollars per ounce with expert predictions of gold reaching over 2000 dollars per ounce in 2011 as the devaluation of all nations fiat currencies tumble into worthlessness.
Unleashing of a Financial Nuclear War author Mathias Chang writes; “Let us be very clear about the impact of the coming massive Quantitative Easing (QEII) by the FED, the financial bully of Wall Street. It is the unleashing of a financial nuclear weapon! The Financial media is portraying this process as a a war of survival between America and the rest of the world. This is a war waged by Wall Street. Its main instrument is a Global Ponzi Scheme.”
Mathias Chang also quotes a statement made by Martin Wolf a writer for the Financial Times one of the major voices for the financial establishment. To put it bluntly the US wants to inflate the rest of the world, while the latter is trying to deflate the US. The US must win, since it has infinite ammunition: there is no limit to the dollars the Federal Reserve can create. What need to be discussed are the terms of the worlds surrender.”
I am not a financial expert, nor do I make any claims at being one. I am a concerned citizen and a broadcaster who has reported on all of the issues and events for the last ten years that I have mentioned in this book. I cannot standby indifferently as a mannequin or crash dummy as so many Americans do, accepting whatever they are told as the politically correct acceptable fashion, or be driven into a brick wall to see how hard their head hits the windshield at 100 miles per hour. Wake up Americans, before you are driven into a brick wall, or over a cliff.
THE PROBLEM WITH OBAMA’S STATE OF THE UNION SPEECH
Thirty seven million Americans watched Barack Obama’s State of the Union Address Tuesday night.That number of viewers is approximately 11% of all Americans. The Super Bowl promoters expect over 100 million viewers nationally and possibly 500 million internationally. That places the American interest in Obama’s State of the Union Address, somewhere between that of an episode of Dancing with the Stars and American Idol. Is it really any wonder that America is in the trouble it is in?
I was not impressed with Obama’s speech Tuesday night, except for a few of his statements about banking reform and when the camera panned on Tim Geitner’s shock expression, and of course the close up of Warren Buffet’s secretary. I noticed Eric Cantor still wore his toothy grin while listening to Obama’s attacks on the Republicans inability to work with Democrats and the president. I also noticed Boehner’s uncomfortable glare at the back of Obama’s head, and who could not have noticed Biden’s silly grin of approval to everything Obama said.
There was little in this speech that had any real truth in it. I have heard Obama’s speeches before and they are all hyped up cheerleader speeches of optimism and nationalistic jingoes. I felt that I couldn’t put stock in anything he said, because nothing he said in all of his other speeches ever came to fruition. None of his great ideas were ever that great. He speaks more clearly and with more polish than G.W Bush did, but Obama’s rhetoric and foreign policies are the same as old G.W’s. G.W had a knack of twisting my stomach every time he spoke with his gnawing, grammar grinding sentences. He often made me angry and sick while listening to him speak.Obama just makes me angry. I know he will not follow thru on anything except his military buildup, his aggression against Iran and his support for Israeli genocide of the Palestinians. He will continue the lopsided trade agreements with China and South American countries and build up the failing war on drugs, and destroy our economy and safety with a greater influx and amnesty of millions of illegal aliens. He will continue grinning arrogantly at the cameras and make light of the criticism launched against him and his administration. His policy on Bail Outs is suddenly one of “No more bail outs for anyone.” This is worrisome since half of all Americans need financial and medical help from their government; because the failed policies of the Republican and Democratic Congress and the horrid leadership of G.W and Obama have brought this country into a greater depression than that of the 1930s.
I felt a severe sense of nihilism as I listened to Barack Obama give his speech. I began to wonder if anything could be saved or if I was witnessing the end of the United States being groaned out by a boring orator, and applauded by a dead and dying audience, more grateful for the speech to be finished than anything that was said in it. I thought of the millions of homeless Americans who were living in tents or cars or in public parks or abandoned houses. I thought about the 3 million Americans who were foreclosed on last year and the millions more who will lose their homes and jobs this year. I thought about how sick and sad the whole world really is and how glib and incompetent our President is and how ineffective and divisive our Congress is. I thought about the loss of our American Freedoms that have been ravaged by the cynical, power hungry hundreds of contemptible representatives gathered before the nation under one roof, and watched by millions of Americans who despise them. I was reminded that Congress has a 10% approval rating, and the President’s ratings descend daily as his toothy smile becomes more yellowed by lies. I saw Hillary Clinton awash under the bright lights, with the camera focused on each wrinkle and her tired blank stare as she calmly applauded something Obama said. I wondered if the million lies she told finally killed her soul. I wondered if she might represent the living corpse of America,as did the rest of Obama’s Cabinet,who were sitting upright in seats of appointed power, nodding their heads to appear awake and useful, like robots on an assembly line working towards their own obsolescence.
During the Reagan years Americans became optimistic that we could overcome our recessionary problems by listening to the speeches of Ronald Reagan and became deluded into believing again in the American Dream of everyone has a chance to be rich in America. Reagan’s policy of “Trickle Down Economics” didn’t make sense to most knowledgeable economists, lending institutions weren’t lending and were bloated with delinquent mortgages and foreclosures brought about by the Savings and Loan scandals and the onset of new interstate banking and the deregulation of the banking industry. All hell broke loose in the public banking sector until the average pragmatic American homeowner took matters into his own hands and began to lend buyers the equity in their own homes. Also at the tremendous rate of interest depositors were receiving on their savings accounts,the average middle class American managed to do well.
It then came to pass in the first year of his Presidency the attempted assassination of Ronald Reagan. Also Congress established the Resolution Trust Corporation, which was the first major financial industry bail out by the American Taxpayer, whereby all junk property on the books of major banks were unloaded upon the taxpayer under the banner of the Resolution Trust Corporation and auctioned off or refinanced under very favorable terms to buyers at one half or one quarter of their original value or mortgaged amount. Savvy investors took advantage of this Republican sponsored free for all and established large real estate equity firms, many of whom a few years later by 1989 went bankrupt. Many CEOs of these firms, bank presidents and commercial lending officers served jail terms. This massive collapse of a booming real estate market was brought about by the Reagan Tax of 1987, which targeted all equity earnings of the average homeowner and the capital gains earned on real estate and the booming stock market. These new taxes were used to finance the massive government debt created by Reagan and the Congress that inflated military spending by nearly one trillion dollars within the first four years of Reagan and Republican rule. This deflated the ballooning markets and brought about a stock market crash in October 1987, and a subsequent real estate crash in 1988 and 1989. By the end of Reagan’s second term the United States was brought into another deep recession which lasted until the early 1990s and ended shortly after the election of a Democratic President Bill Clinton in 1992.
In 1988 George H.W.Bush was elected as President and again increased taxes to pay for his new First Gulf War, which was the first defeat for Saddam Hussein and the beginning of two decades of American Middle East involvement in unwinnable wars. The First Gulf War was not a war it was a rumble, where few American lives were lost, yet billions of new taxpayer money was spent on increasing the wealth and influence of American defense contractors. The one reprieve from wars and financial irresponsibility Americans had was during the two terms of Bill Clinton a Democratic President, who managed to keep the country out of major military campaigns, balanced the federal budget and revived the economy; until the Republican held congress impeached him with attacks of his marital infidelity, which forced him to lie in a cover up and eventually ended his second term in disgrace. His two terms in office created one of the most successful U.S decades of the 20th Century.
In 2000 with the election of G.W.Bush and the onslaught of Fundamental Christian Republicanism we entered the decade of complete and utter failure. The surge of Republicans again created the groundwork of 911 and two failed wars in the Middle East as well as countless military and diplomatic blunders creating devastating effects that have lasted into the present time. The balanced budget left by Bill Clinton was immediately destroyed by G.W Bush and his Republican co-horts as well as the cowardly Democrats, who were bullied by Bush and his Republican majority into giving away trillions of taxpayer dollars to the wealthiest one percent of taxpayers in an unprecedented tax reduction, and billion dollar tax subsidies to oil and energy firms, and the repeal of numerous Democratic imposed EPA regulations controlling air and water quality and the production of oil,gas and coal. The Republicans under G.W Bush destroyed America, and now are trying to finish the task by blocking any major Democratic program that will bring back life to the crippled American economy. Instead Republicans would force millions of Americans into poverty and deny them unemployment benefits,food stamps,fuel assistance or medical insurance.
This is just a brief summary of the marvels of Republican Rule for the last 3 decades,and now we are faced with the 2012 elections; whereby we are witnessing in disgust the belligerent and soulless nature of Republicans,and their ruthless commitment to their tyrannical and greed driven policies. Of the four remaining Republican presidential candidates now being considered none of them have the compassion, genius or leadership abilities to lead the U.S out of its free fall into oblivion. The Democrats under Obama’s presidency have not led either, and seem committed to continue with their weak kneed approach to not fighting the Republican menace and allowing all Democratic gains made in this country since Franklin Roosevelt to be destroyed by the selfishness, greed and ignorance of the Republicans. Democrats conceded to the Republicans two stolen elections, the stripping of the U.S Constitution,and allowed the United States to default and stagnate and let the American people fall into the abyss of poverty and joblessness without any serious outcry of anger. Democrats have no leadership, no concern for future generations of Americans, and have accepted the Republicans’ callous inconsideration for the dignity of the American people, and the basic human rights of people in other countries that are murdered or tortured at the hands of American soldiers.
Republican elected officials in Washington and throughout the country in state and local governments are not what the United States needs or wants. We cannot afford another four years of incompetent and cruel leadership. The Republican method of government has completely failed,yet millions of Americans believe there is something to be saved from it,and continue to vote for despicable and hapless candidates like Newt Gingrich and Rick Santorum, or hope that a unemployed billionaire like Mitt Romney on a life long pursuit for Presidential office and ultimate power have the ability to lead them as their President. The absurdity of their commitment to these feeble candidates is proof of the irrelevancy of Republican thinking. The weakness and incompetence of the Democrats have proven to the American people that they too are unable to pull the United States out its free fall into destruction. Unless the Democrats immediately gain integrity,courage and leadership a Republican nightmare candidate will win the Presidency by default.
With all the recent privacy fears from Google and government and other invaders of our privacy, I say “Damn them all.” I’ve always tried to conduct my public life genuinely. What I’ve said on this site and on my radio and television programs are out there for everyone to see and hear. My personal life is much like my public life, I try not to hide anything, but we all have natural rights to privacy that should not be violated and everyone should have the common sense not to put anything on the internet that they don’t want anyone to know,like SS numbers,bank account numbers,or anything too weird.
I believe it was Lao Tsu who said when questioned by one of his followers about how to trust people who have something to hide or may be lying. The great sage answered, “How can a man hide? How can he hide?” I always thought that was a great answer, because it really is impossible for anyone to hide their true selves for very long. If you are a closet drunk or addict eventually someone will notice or suspect. If you are a thief sooner or later you will be caught or others will notice and reject you personally or professionally.If you are genuine with everyone, then there is no reason to hide who you really are, because most people can tell immediately if they trust you, or if they like you or if they are completely repelled by you. No matter how genuine you are there will be people who love or hate you.
Someone wise once said, We are what we attract. If we are deceptive,violent or immoral then we attract deceit, violence and immorality into our lives. Whenever I’ve tried to conceal something from someone, I often felt guilt or shame or nervousness when I’m around them. Sooner or later in some careless moment or some unforeseen incident my deception is revealed. Pathological liars don’t remember who they lied to or what the lie was and get caught in a lie by making an even greater lie to cover up for the orignial lie. Deception is a vicious cycle that only leads to destruction. Some people may thive for a while by deception, but eventually Karma brings justice. (Remember Richard Nixon and Bernie Maddoff.)
So many political and professional careers have been ruined by the truth being found out about a politician’s corruption or blatant hypocrisy and idiocy or a celebrity’s drug addiction, or abusive behavior to their friends,family or fans. The most respected politicians and celebrities are those who have admitted their own shortcomings to the public, and move on from there. Most people will accept or reject the humanity in these leaders and celebrities and either reject them or sympathize with them and admire them more for having conquered their demons. Most people admire other people who have conquered great obstacles or are humble in their confessions of guilt, but resolved in their desire to be better. Isn’t humanity’s greatest gift Human redemption? We so often forget this as we go through our daily lives. We are lied to and decieved constantly by the Main Stream Media,corporate and government officials , friends and relatives, our spouses and children. But we know when we are being deceived, unless we choose to live in complete denial,(which so many people do.)
Examples of living in denial: Being a member of any political party anywhere. Being mentally or physically abused. Being a member of any religion. Being Obese. Being anorexic. Being a dishonest salesman. Being a dishonest politician. Being a dishonest person. Being Rich. Being Poor. Being Middleclass. This partial list of great deniers accounts for 90% of the world population.
I believe there are less than 10% of the world’s population who are not deniers. These people see the world for what it is, and themselves for who they really are. They know and understand that it is foolish to try and hide behind the masks of deceit,arrogance,insincerity, or ignorance. Sooner or later the mask must come off when we go home and see ourselves in the mirror and wash off the makeup or dirt from the day and see the blemishes and scars of our true complexion. We can not hide from ourselves or from others for too long. The ghosts of our past,present and future, haunt us as karmic furies,until we admit the truth to ourselves and others of who we really are.
Three cheers for the Gingrich Victory in South Carolina. The Obama campaign people must be celebrating tonight and falling down in hysterical laughter. Of all the Republican crazies Santorum and Gingrich are the craziest. No sane American could possibly vote for these “serial hypocrites” but there and again I am assuming that most Americans are sane.
It is absolutely appalling that a majority of anyone could cast a vote for their choice of presidential candidate and choose Newt Gingrich. It is absolutely unbelievable however, there are 330 million people in the U.S and half of them are on anti depressants, living below the poverty level, and based on the most recent educational statistics are essentially stupid. The majority of American people do not know who Newt Gingrich is and do not care. For that matter a vast number of Americans do not know who Barack Obama or Joe Biden are. So a win for Newt Gingrich in South Carolina is completely irrelevant to the vast majority of Americans because many of them do not know where South Carolina is, or that it is one of the states in the United States.
A recent poll conducted by the Pew Foundation showed that less than a third of high school seniors knew what the Constitution was and even fewer knew what the Bill of Rights was. Less than 30% knew who was in charge of the Executive Branch of the U.S Government. So it really does not surprise me that Newt Gingrich won the Republican primary in South Carolina,most South Carolinian Republicans probably thought they were going to church and signed an X next to Gingrich thinking it spelled Jesus.
I reluctantly voted for Barack Obama in 2008, and have been publicly critical of his policies ever since, however after witnessing the parade of clowns of the Republican presidential candidates Obama looks astoundingly electable. The Liberal Main Stream Media could not be happier to announce the Republican primary victory of New Gingrich in South Carolina or in any state, because they know Newt Gingrich is the absolute worst candidate in American presidential history and could not possibly win in the national election. Obama is guaranteed a second term if Newt Gingrich becomes the Republican nominee.

I give all credit and support to the thousands of activists and citizens now occupying Wall Street. It is a great cause and a great turnout to try and bring attention and change to the corruption of the U.S financial system. I am in full support of this, however while thousands march in protest against Wall Street , Wall Street bankers and brokers laugh at them as they spend millions of dollars to thousands of lobbyists to occupy Washington D.C.
Our elected officials are no where to be found in New York City, and those who are like Charles Rangel were heckled and told to leave by the protesters. This was well directed anger, however if the hundreds of thousands of protesters would have been in Washington D.C occupying the Capital Building and the White House this protest would be far more effective. If hundreds of thousands of people would occupy Washington, while Congress is in session, camping out on the Capital lawn and steps harassing and heckling the lawmakers as they enter and exit the building would clearly make the statement that Americans are angry and demand change. It is Congress that has allowed Wall Street to get away with ripping off the American people. It is Congress that has continued to invade countries and kill and destroy entire civilizations, and waste trillions of dollars of taxpayer money. It is Congress that is guilty of accepting bribes by Corporate lobbyists. Why then is everyone in New York City instead of Washington D.C ?
The main stream media has virtually ignored the New York City protest, as Yahoo news today has a picture of some foolish couple getting married on the Brooklyn Bridge with the protest marchers in the background. No mention that 700 people were arrested on that bridge. The entire triviality of the picture is a prime example of the Media’s trivialization of the entire event. The riots in Europe and in the Middle East brought about change in governments. Those protests brought fear to the governments and brought about the downfall of several. Europe’s riots brought fear to their governments, though they imposed Marshall Law it woke up the lawmakers. Americans are just beginning to wake up, but they will not become violent , though police brutality is rampant in NYC. They will walk back and forth for their own causes without any direction, sleep in the park, relieve themselves in a McDonald’s restroom after having a McDonald’s GMO breakfast, or a Starbuck’s Latte and muffin. There must be active leadership in this protest to direct the actions against Wall Street and Washington or nothing will be accomplished. All the courage and anger and conviction of these righteously angry citizens will be for nothing.
The majority of the Wall Street protesters appear to be young and unemployed. They are right to be angry, not only with the financial system but with their parents and all members of the Middle Class of this country who are sitting back while losing their jobs and homes due to rampant corporate greed and the indifference of Wall Street and Washington. This protest is not stopping Banking lobbyists from lobbying Congress to increase banking fees, or foreclose on millions of American homeowners, or charging usurious credit card fees, or manipulating the commodity markets so Americans must pay more for gas and food. It is a worthless protest unless it is directed at the institutions that caused all the problems this country is facing. Yes bringing attention to the suffering of Americans is critical however, as 1 in 5 American children are in poverty, and 50 million American families qualify for Food Stamps and cannot afford healthcare, while a do nothing Congress debates whether or to fund FEMA after the worst year of natural disasters in over a century, occupying Wall Street and not Washington D.C is a truly misdirected protest.
The protest started in New York City but it must end in Washington D.C. It must end after millions of unemployed and foreclosed on Americans are angry enough and desperate enough to march on Washington D.C and occupy their capital and call out their government to be a government for all Americans or to GET THE HELL OUT! Americans are angry, but the majority of them are still looking forward to the World Series, Halloween, Thanks Giving and Christmas with little thought about the Occupy Wall Street Protest. When these young activists arrive home for the holidays they will argue with their uncles and aunts and brothers and sisters as they sit at the dinning room table. They will be called foolish hippies and socialists and told to just get a job, etc, etc. These activists will become angrier and more committed and perhaps will persuade some of their family members to join them in fighting , however it will be interesting to see how long this protest will last, and where it will end or if it will continue until all the anger and focus of attention is on the real crooks and traitors in this country, and millions of Americans OCCUPY WASHINGTON D.C.
Further peace negotiations without the recognized status of the UN for Palestine is a futile and useless stall for time by the U.S and Israel to allow Israel time to commit further atrocities against the Palestinians. Mammoud Abbas now must show his true self as a Palestinian or a U.S Israeli puppet. His reputation throughout the world as a leader of merit and courage worthy of representing the spirit of the Palestinian people now hinges upon his discussion today with Barack Obama and Netanyahoo. He must show that the strength and resolve of the Palestinian people is far greater than both nations confronting him. All depends on him. The freedom of the Palestinians and the rejection of the yoke of U.S Israeli tyranny. Abbas will be an international hero or an international embarrassment, plummeting the Palestinians into a more perilous state of US-Israeli oppression.
The insanity of U.S involvement in this Zionist nightmare will be and is the undoing of American foreign policy for decades to come. As the U.S stands with Israel and against Palestine our government is standing against all American values once represented. But now in the light of good and evil the American government stands firmly and proudly with Evil and all of its minions, Genocide, ethnic cleansing, colonial occupation, decimation of an indigenous people, land theft, racism, theocracy. Oh, Americans should be so proud today that our elected officials have chosen to stand proudly with the forces of all evil in the world. But we always have. This is not a change for the U.S . We have always stolen land, committed genocide, ruled by segregation and racist policies, allowed religion to dominate or society and government. Military occupation of other counties is our greatest export. Militarization and commercial exploitation of other countries is what we do best. It is the American Way. It is our symbol of the waving flag in every corner of the world and 800 military bases world wide. So it is no wonder that we side with Israel. Israel is our colony in the Middle East and represents everything Americans are.
As an American Citizen I refuse to accept any policy the U.S engages in with Israel against Palestine, except the complete recognition of Palestine as it’s own free state and full membership into the UN. This is what they should have and must have otherwise there will never be peace and Israel will forever face extinction and the U.S will be forced to abandon its alliance with Israel or face war and possible annihilation by the rest of the world. Standing with Israel is against all noble and human rights. Standing with Israel is bringing the axe of the world’s executioner down upon the necks of all Americans. As each American struggles economically and emotionally each day to provide for themselves and their families, in a downward spiraling economy brought about by years of incompetent government leadership, we can no longer endure the burden of further world hatred against us because of our corrupt and incompetent leaders who give away our our jobs, our hope and our treasury to their corporate masters.

There were many significant events in 2010 that have changed the social and environmental landscape of the U.S and the world. The environmental disasters began on January 12, 2010 when the largest earthquake to hit Haiti in 200 years cost the lives of hundreds of thousands of Haitians and destroyed their homes and cities, combined with the added destruction of a hurricane that further devastated the country in August of 2010. 1.3 million Haitians still remain homeless and tens of thousands are now dying of Cholera, Tuberculosis, and starvation. Worldwide charitable efforts have aided the Haitians however, the initial poverty of the Haitian people prior to the quake and the impotence of the Haitian government to help its citizens have caused even greater hopelessness for the Haitian people. The American news media has said little about the ongoing problems in Haiti, because (in part) of their reporting on America’s own problems, and because of actions of the former G.W Bush administration, who deposed the well loved and democratically elected leader Aristide in a military coup in 2004, replacing President Aristide with an American puppet military regime.

NYT Exposes U.S. Role in Coup of Haitis Aristide: The New York Times has revealed new details of the US role in the overthrow of Haitian President Jean Bertrand Aristide. In a lengthy expose published Sunday, former US ambassador Brian Dean Curran says the White House and State Department actively ignored his complaints over the Haiti activities of the International Republican Institute a government-funded group with close ties to the Bush administration. Over Curran’s objection, the IRI convened training sessions for anti-Aristide groups at a Santo Domingo hotel. These meetings were financed by the US government. On one occasion, two key leaders of the armed rebellion that eventually toppled AristideGuy Phillipe and Paul Accelin were staying at the same hotel where the meetings took place. Curran was removed from his post in July 2003 six months before his term was set to expire. Otto Reich, who served as Assistant Secretary of State during President George W. Bush’s first term, said Curran was replaced because QUOTE “we did not think the ambassador was carrying out the new policy in the way we wanted it carried out.” Aristide was deposed just months later, on February 29th 2004, in what he called a modern-day kidnapping in the service of a coup d’etat backed by the United States.”
Through their individual generosity and concern the American people responded to the earthquake disaster with heartfelt charity raising over 50 million dollars in small donations made by millions of elementary and high school students and adult Americans, whose hearts went out to the Haitian people. Within days of the Haitian earthquake 13,000 American troops were sent to Haiti to prevent political upheaval, under the guise of humanitarian aid. The following paragraphs are from the official Whitehouse.gov website as of January 21st 2010. “As of January 21, approximately 13,000 military personnel (10,000 afloat and 3,000 ashore) are a part of the relief effort. The 22nd Marine Expeditionary Unit (MEU) continues to provide assistance in support of Leogane and Petit Goave. They currently have 356 Marines ashore. The remaining assets from 2/82 Brigade Combat Team and equipment will complete deployment to Port-au-Prince by January 22. They currently have 3,062 soldiers on ground.”
How ironic it was to see such quick response by the U.S government, when it took more time for the Bush and Obama administrations through FEMA not the National Guard or the Military to respond to the greatest disasters in U.S history, Hurricane Katrina and the Gulf Oil Spill in New Orleans. The Haitian people are virtually left to survive on their own individual resolve. The U.S main stream media has all but ignored the Haitian crisis since Bill Clinton (the American charity spokesman) became embroiled in the U.S Midterm Elections, travelling from city to city to stump for Democratic candidates. Former President G.W Bush was also a designated spokesman, but because of the hatred of the Haitian and American people towards him he was seen as more of a liability than an aid in raising funds or support for the Haitian relief effort, and completely dropped out of the news media’s focus, until the release of his book on November 8, 2010.
The next global disaster was the Chilean earthquake, which happened on February 27th, 2010. The following statement appeared that day in BostonGlobe.com.
“At 3:34 am local time, today, February 27th, a devastating magnitude 8.8 earthquake struck Chile, one of the strongest earthquakes ever recorded. According to Chilean authorities, over 400 people are now known to have been killed. The earthquake also triggered a Tsunami which is right now propagating across the Pacific Ocean, due to arrive in Hawaii in hours (around 11:00 am local time). The severity of the Tsunami is still not known, but alerts are being issued across the Pacific. As the destruction and aftershocks were reported the New York Times reported several days later: “More than 1.5 million people have displaced by the quake, according to local news services that quoted the director of Chile’s emergency management office. In Concepción, which appeared to be especially hard hit, the mayor said Sunday morning that 100 people were trapped under the rubble of a building that had collapsed, according to Reuters&.The quake Saturday, tied for the fifth largest in the world since 1900, set off tsunami waves that swamped some nearby islands before moving across the Pacific. Hawaii began evacuations before dawn, but by early afternoon there more than 15 hours after the earthquake first struck 6,500 miles away the fears of a destructive wave had passed. Countries including Japan and the Philippines were on alert and ordered limited evacuations in anticipation of waves hitting Sunday. ” Within weeks of the Chilean earthquake little more news attention was given to the plight of the Chilean people until later in 2010 when 33 Chilean miners were trapped alive in a mine collapse and all survived for over 60 days as the world media reported daily on their plight. All miners were rescued and became instant world celebrities. One miner was brought to the United States to appear on the David Letterman Show where he did an Elvis impersonation.
On April 20th 2010, and explosion on the British Petroleum Deep Water Horizon oil rig in the Gulf of Mexico, killed 11 workers and caused the largest oil spill and natural disaster in U.S history. The following timeline is an excerpt from a report published on August 5, 2010 by News Inferno.com stating that;
Transocean Ltd., the owner of the doomed Deepwater Horizon oil rig, had safety problems on at least three other Gulf of Mexico platforms prior to the April 20 explosion that spawned the BP oil spill. According to a report in The New York Times, those concerns prompted Transocean to commission risk management company Lloyds Register to investigate the safety culture of its North American operations just a month before the disaster.
According to the Times, Transocean owns 14 rigs now operating in the Gulf and 139 others in locations around the globe. As part of its investigation, Lloyds Register looked into the safety culture on Deepwater Horizon, three other Gulf rigs the Development Driller II, the Marianas, and the Discoverer Clear Leader and at Transocean’s Huston, Texas headquarters. The review was commissioned in response to a series of serious accidents and near-hits within the global organization, according to the Times. Among Lloyds findings: ” Nearly 40 percent of workers interviewed on the four rigs said that past problems were typically investigated by company officials strictly to attribute blame. ” About 43 percent of workers on the four rigs expressed fears of reprisals for reporting problems, with about 54 percent of Deepwater Horizon workers citing such fears. ” Some workers said the company was systematically deferring maintenance to save money. A report from TPM Muckraker, by Jullian Eliot published April 30th, 2010, creates a timeline of events that happened from the first day of the explosion on the Deepwater Horizon oil rig. April 20: At around 10 p.m. a fire is reported on the central time on the Deepwater Horizon rig, owned by Transocean Ltd. and under lease to energy giant BP, according to an April 21 statement from Transocean. There is no mention of any possible spill. Eleven workers are killed.”
April 22: With the media coverage of the explosion focusing on the missing workers and, initially, not about the possibility of a spill, AFP notes the possibility of an environmental disaster: the rig had been drilling 8,000 barrels of oil per day, and had 700,000 gallons of diesel fuel on board. “Worst case scenario, there is a potential environmental threat,” Coast Guard spokeswoman Katherine McNamara tells the wire service. BP’s chief executive, Tony Hayward, says BP will do “everything in our power to contain this oil spill and resolve the situation as rapidly, safely and effectively as possible.” The company said it dispatched a team to deal with the oil that dispersed from the original blast. April 23: The day after the rig sank, the AP reports: “Coast Guard Rear Adm. Mary Landry said Friday morning that no oil appeared to be leaking from the well head at the ocean floor, nor was any leaking at the water’s surface. However, Landry said crews were closely monitoring the rig for any more crude that might spill out. April 24: In the late afternoon, the AP reports that the Coast Guard has reversed its earlier statement that there was no oil leaking. The wire service quotes Guard officials as saying an estimated 1,000 barrels of oil per day are coming out of the well head on the ocean floor, 5,000 feet under water. Landry says that the oil may have been pouring out since the rig sank on April 22. BP’s chief operating officer, Doug Suttles, speaking about options on responding to the spill, says, “Over the next several days, we should determine which method is the best one to follow” April 26: BP says in a press release it is ‘accelerating offshore oil recovery and continuing well control efforts. Improved weather “combined with the light, thin oil we are dealing with has further increased our confidence that we can tackle this spill offshore,” says BP chief exec Tony Hayward. April 27: After underwater robots fail to stop the flow of oil, the coast guard floats the idea of containing pools of oil in containment booms and then setting it on fire. Meanwhile, BP says it will begin drilling a new relief well near the spill site later in the week; the process could take months.
Rep. Henry Waxman (D-CA), chair of the Energy and Commerce committee, writes a letter (.pdf) to the chairman of BP notifying him of an investigation into “what the companies knew about the risks of drilling at the site and the adequacy of the companies’ response plans.” He charges that “[a] striking feature of the incident is the apparent lack of an adequate plan to contain the spreading environmental damage. The two companies involved, BP Exploration and Production, Inc., and Transocean Ltd., are attempting to contain the oil spilling from the well with techniques that have never been used before at these ocean depths.” Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano and Interior Secretary Ken Salazar announce an investigation of the explosion.
April 28: Late Wednesday, the Coast Guard announces that 5,000, not 1,000, barrels a day of oil are spilling, citing a new National Oceanic Atmospheric Administration estimate. At the same press conference as the Coast Guard announcement, BP COO Doug Suttle disputes the new estimate and argues that a newly discovered leak does not change the rate of the spill. “He showed a diagram showing where the leaks are and said the newly discovered leak is upstream from the previous leaks,” the AP reports. ” April 29: Suttle acknowledges on the Today Show that the government’s new estimate may be accurate. In a Rose Garden statement, Obama says the Administration will use “every single available resource” to address the spill, including the military. He also says BP will have to pay the costs.
This was the beginning of the 89 day environmental nightmare that caused a 2700 sq mile oil slick covering the Gulf Coast waters from Louisiana to Florida. It became President Obamas Katrina. Nearly 3 weeks passed before the White House issued a statement of any significance with a plan and an erroneous estimate of damage. The oil spill was estimated by independent scientists and experts at approximately 220,000 barrels per day were gushing from the spill. The world watched 24hr televised (supposed) live camera footage of the spill from the underwater base of the broken well pipe. Anyone could see that 5000 barrels a day was a ridiculously low estimate of the oil gushing out of the hole in the sea floor. The following excerpts are from the Whitehouse.gov website. On April 20th 2009, BP was granted an exemption from the new offshore oil drilling regulations implemented as one of the first official acts by President Obama. Ironically exactly one year later, BP was responsible for the largest oil spill in U.S History.

President Obama Announces Members of the BP Deepwater Horizon Oil Spill and Offshore Drilling Commission. WASHINGTON Today, President Barack Obama announced his intent to appoint the following individuals to complete the membership of the National Commission on the BP Deepwater Horizon Oil Spill and Offshore Drilling:
Daily reports were presented on the Network News outlets by BP and Coast Guard spokesmen, as all news reporters were banned from filming the oil spill or interviewing the BP workers cleaning up the shorelines. The EPA issued a warning to BP to cease its use of the oil dispersant Corexit, which was sprayed over the 2700 miles of oil slick. BP ignored the EPA order and continued the wide spread use of the dispersant which caused the death of millions of sea life and evaporated into the atmosphere causing toxic oil filled rain to drop on Gulf Coast population of millions. Medical reports were released by doctors who were treating thousands of Gulf residents for biological reactions to the highly toxic Corexit dispersant and the fumes from the oil.
In a last ditch effort and long delayed response by the White House President Obama met with the executives of BP and negotiated a settlement of 40 billion dollars be set aside by the oil company for sea and coastal repair and reimbursements to the hundreds of thousands of people in the gulf who lost their jobs and companies all dependent on the fishing, restaurant and vacation industries. No network news reports came from the Gulf Coast as Americans were being prepped and goaded by the media to spend their last remaining cash and credit on Christmas shopping. The biggest change in the new report is in the estimate of the amount of oil that was turned into tiny droplets by chemical dispersants. The original report said 16 percent of the oil had been naturally dispersed, while 8 percent was chemically dispersed.”

The international controversy surrounding the leak of these classified Pentagon and State Dept memos is being made out by the Main Stream Media in the U.S as a great embarrassment and threat to national security. As this story unfolds in the year 2011, it will be interesting to see how compromised the U.S operations in Iraq, Afghanistan and Pakistan really are. As I have tried to prove throughout this book, nothing of any great political magnitude that would harm the national security or foreign policy of the U.S can possibly be released to the public without the CIA, FBI and White House authorizing it. No one in the Main Stream Media or on the internet could leak such sensitive information without being discovered and censored. Controversial websites are constantly being attacked or removed from the Web. For anyone to believe today that the U.S Government would tolerate the release of hundreds of thousands of secret and top secret documents is absolutely absurd. The ridiculous idea of a Gay PFC with no security clearances, hacking into the most secure computer system on the planet, because he was angry at the Military’s “Don’t Ask Don’t Tell” policy being reinstated is beyond the pale of reason. In this fantastic tale of national insecurity I am reminded of a famous quote that seems to be the mainstay of the U.S Governments ideology especially in the 21st century.

In early 2010 the first Wikileaks were made public and virtually nothing happened or was reported to have happened by the release of the first thousands of classified documents. It turned out that the news media virtually ignored the documents because the information had already been released by Seymour Hersh in the New Yorker, and other reporters who disclosed the “great” secrets of the Bush Administration and corruption of the Iraqis and Afghan governments. Releasing old reports on past military operations is old news and irrelevant to the current conflicts. All the information so far released has been of little consequence to the ongoing wars. The only effect these leaked documents will have on the American people is to create a greater censorship of the internet, and increase spying on individuals through email and social networks. Also the most sensitive disclosures were from the Arab leaders condemning Iran and urging the U.S to attack Iran.(which is exactly what the U.S and Israel want). The New York Times recently stated that they had asked the Government authorities to check anything they released of the Wikileak documents and the Government approved their reports, so much for the credibility of the New York Times. Regarding the credibility of the major U.S news papers and magazines and networks please note the following quotes from former CIA directors William Colby and William Casey and Chairman of the Trilateral Commission David Rockefeller regarding their control of the media and the collusion of the news media with the global elite.

I believe the time has come for all who still believe in their government and those who run it, to reevaluate their opinions, especially of the U.S main stream media. As U.S newspapers and television networks reduce their news staffs and close their foreign offices, less news becomes available to the U.S public. The U.S has one of the most censored news media in the world as stated in a 2008 poll of 1000 independent journalists from around the world, which rated the U.S news media as 23rd out of the top 100 countries for most censored, Saudi Arabia was 24th. In recent response to the Wikileaks disclosures 19 U.S senators voted to censor the internet. Personally I was surprised at some of the “Progressive liberal” senators on this list. Joseph Lieberman the Senate Chairman for Home Land Security committee stated he wanted to have the same control China has on the internet.
This is hardly a surprise but, this morning (as previously announced), the lame duck Senate Judiciary Committee unanimously voted to move forward with censoring the internet via the COICA bill — despite a bunch of law professors explaining to them how this law is a clear violation of the First Amendment. What’s really amazing is that many of the same Senators have been speaking out against internet censorship in other countries, yet they happily vote to approve it here because it’s seen as a way to make many of their largest campaign contributors happy. There’s very little chance that the bill will actually get passed by the end of the term but, in the meantime, we figured it might be useful to highlight the 19 Senators who voted to censor the internet this morning: Patrick J. On May 1st, 2011 the White House stated that Osama bin Laden the supposed mastermind of 911 was assassinated by a hit team in Abbatabod Pakistan. When President Obama issued his statement that Osama Bin Laden was killed on his order by Special Forces in Osama s fortified complex in Pakistan, I could not believe it, nor did 99% of the world. To top off this appalling lie, Osama was supposedly shot in the head at point blank range even though he wasn’t armed and his body was supposedly transported by helicopter to a U.S aircraft carrier 1500 miles away and then his body was buried at sea. No photograph was released of Osama’s body nor was an autopsy performed to prove the dead man was Osama Bin Laden. The only proof that came from the Obama Whitehouse a week after Osama’s death was announced were photo shopped pictures, which experts stated were the same photos used 3 years prior and circulated on the internet when Osama s death was announced in the last days of the G.W Bush administration.
In a 7/12/2008 article by Steve Watson written for Infowars.com, he contests the recent CIA leak to Times magazine that Osama had been given six to eighteen months to live. He cites the leak regarding the death of Osama Bin Laden. “According to the CIA leaks the CIA has ostensibly managed to get the names of the medications bin Laden is taking” and have concluded that the former intelligence asset is dying of kidney failure& The news comes the same week that Pakistan has an agreement to allow CIA operated Predator drones fly over the country and strike targets in the so called “hunt for Bin Laden”. The only tiny problem with all this is of course the fact that Bin Laden has been on death’s door due to chronic kidney failure for the last eight years.”
Watson also sites a French newspaper article from LeFigaro that stated “Bin Laden was on a kidney dialysis machine after he had one shipped to his base in Kandahar Afghanistan in 2000, and when the CIA personally visited him in a Dubai hospital. Other accounts suggest he was suffering from Hepatitis C at the time and had only two years left to live.” Watson goes on to state: “In 2002 CNN reported on the fact that Pakistanis president Pervez Musharraf believed Bin Laden to be dead. Others who have gone on record insisting they believe Bin Laden to be dead include: Afghan President Hamid Karzai, FBI counter terrorism chief Dale Watson, Israeli Intelligence sources, the late former Prime Minister of Pakistan Benazir Bhutto, Bin Laden expert Professor Bruce Lawrence. “
In addition, a leaked French secret service memo in September 2006 concluded that Bin Laden had died of typhoid poisoning the previous month. The memo cited Saudi Arabian secret service sources who were convinced Bin Laden had died in Pakistan. Watson concludes his article stating: “Judging from all the available evidence the White House knows for certain or at least strongly suspects that Bin Laden is dead and has been for many years, but they have chosen to maintain his myth for purposes of political propaganda and as a hook on which to pin the advance of the imperial Neo Con agenda.”

LONDON, England (CNN) — The editor-in-chief of a London-based Arab news magazine said a purported will it published Saturday was written late last year by Osama bin Laden, and shows “he’s dying or he’s going to die soon.” U.S. intelligence officials say they have the purported will, but are not able to say if it is genuine. CNN has not been able to verify that the document is bin Laden’s will. “He did write the will as someone saying good-bye,” Hani Nakshabandi of the Arab news magazine Al Majalla told CNN. He said one of the magazine’s reporters obtained the four-page document, said to be signed by the leader of the al Qaeda terrorist network and dated December 14, 2001, in Afghanistan. In the document, which was translated for CNN, the writer expresses disappointment with the Taliban, who harbored him in Afghanistan, speaks of betrayal, and urges his children to shun al Qaeda. “Even amongst the students of religion, only few stood their ground and fought, and the rest either surrendered or fled,” the document says, referring to the Taliban, according to a translation for CNN. Despite the setbacks, the purported will says, “We will be victorious against the U.S. and the infidel West even if it takes tens of years.” “My last advice is to the mujahedeen everywhere,” the document says. “Take a breather and put aside for the time being, fighting the Jews and the Crusades, and instead devote your efforts to purifying your groups from the agents and the cowards and those impostors who claim to be scholars amongst you.” “As for you, my sons, forgive me if I failed to devote more of my time to you since I answered the call to Jihad,” the document says. It continues: “I have carried the burden of Muslims and their causes, and have chosen a dangerous path and endured hardship, disappointment and betrayal. If it wasn’t for betrayal, things would be different today.” The writer advises his sons, “This is the most precious advice I can give you. I also want you to stay away from al Qaeda,” asking them “not to follow in his path and seek leadership.” Because of the message to his children, Nakshabandi said he believes there will be dramatic upheaval in al Qaeda leadership, and his magazine plans another article in the next week or so based on correspondence among the group’s leaders. To his wives, the author of the document says, “May God reward you generously. You have been very supportive to me. You recognized right at the start that the path will be paved with land mines and other obstacles.” “Don’t consider marrying again, and devote yourselves to your children and guide them to the right path.” The purported will, signed “Your brother Abu Abdullah Osama Muhammad Bin Laden,” could not be independently authenticated. According to the magazine, their experts say there have been no confirmed sightings of bin Laden since last December. The document was dated after the September 11 terror attacks against the United States and about one week before Taliban rule officially ended in Afghanistan with the swearing-in of an interim government. In the document, the writer says the attacks on New York and Washington were the third in a series of al Qaeda attacks that also included the 1983 attack on a U.S. Marines barracks in Lebanon and the 1998 bombings of two U.S. embassies in Africa. Also in December, the U.S.-led coalition was bombing suspected al Qaeda training camps in mountainous eastern Afghanistan and searching for bin Laden and top Taliban leaders believed to be hiding in the region.
Nakshabandi said he heard about the purported will in March, and obtained a copy a week ago from one of his reporters posted near Kandahar, in southern Afghanistan, but declined to be more specific. The magazine waited to publish it until they could confirm its authenticity, he added. “I have confirmation it is the right one,” he said, citing his own sources. While admitting he doesn’t know for sure if bin Laden is dead, Nakshabandi said, “Once someone writes his will, it means either he’s dying or he’s going to die soon.” Al Majalla is published by Saudi Research and Publishing Co.

On my April 11th, 2006 radio show I read an article by the Washington Post dated 4/10/06 entitled “Military Plays up Role of Zarqawi”. The article stated that “the U.S military is conducting a propaganda campaign to magnify the role of the leader of Al-Qaida in Iraq, according to internal military documents and officers familiar with the program.”…. “For the past two years, U.S military leaders have been using Iraqi media and other outlets in Baghdad to publicize Zarqawi’s role in the insurgency. The documents explicitly list the “U.S Home Audience” as one of the targets of a broader propaganda campaign.”…..
The article also states that,” Recently there have been unconfirmed reports of a possible rift between Zarqawi and the parent al-Qaeda organization that may have resulted in his being demoted or cut loose…” “It is difficult to determine how much has been spent on the Zarqawi campaign, which began two years ago and is believed to be ongoing. U.S. propaganda efforts in Iraq in 2004 cost $24 million, but that included extensive building of offices and residences for troops involved, as well as radio broadcasts and distribution of thousands of leaflets with Zarqawi s face on them, said the officer speaking on background. The Zarqawi campaign is discussed in several of the internal military documents.” “VILLAINIZE ZARQAWI/ LEVERAGE XENOPHONIA RESPONSE,” one of U.S military briefing from 2004 stated. It related to three methods: Media Operations, Special Ops and PSYOP, the U.S military term for propaganda work.”….. “One internal briefing, produced by the U.S military headquarters in Iraq, said that Kimmitt had concluded that, “The Zarqawi PSYOP program is the most successful information campaign to date.” “Kimmitt is now the senior planner on the staff of the Central Command that directs operations in Iraq and the rest of the Middle East.”…. After reading this it isn’t such a far stretch of the facts to consider that Zarqawi might have been dead all along. That reports of Zarqawi’s death two years ago might be correct; that the U.S PSYOP group might have resurrected this virtually unknown member of al-Qaeda, in order to create a Godzilla – like terrorist to scare the Iraqis and Americans. HMMMM. Zarqawi was a set up; he’d been dead for years. Why is the U.S Army doing an autopsy on him? Why? They announced it yesterday on 6/10/06. How did Zarqawi or anyone for that matter survive two 500 pound bombs that totally wiped out the buildings they were supposedly in? If anyone has seen the pictures of the demolished buildings totally leveled,(I have) absolutely no one could have survived that blast. According to recent radio and television reports, Zarqawi gained consciousness for several minutes when Delta Force soldiers found his body and put him on a stretcher. He supposedly, according to Rush Limbaugh and others,” gained consciousness, saw the hardened faces of DELTA FORCE soldiers staring down at him and rolled off the stretcher and then died.” Who the hell is kidding who? If you believe this story then you probably think Saddam Hussein ordered the attack of 911. You also must believe that Jessica Lynch was truly
saved by the wonderful, brave and congressional medal deserving, angelic, DELTA FORCE. We all know from numerous valid reports that Jessica Lynch was one of the first failed PSYOP programs of the Iraqis War. I’m sorry they had to use her in that way. She seemed like a very brave girl, innocently caught up in one of the first, blunder headed, botched up Rumsfeldian victory plans.
So if you still believe that Zarqawi is dead or alive or ever existed at all, the Zarqawi program has succeeded and is officially over except for the autopsy. This is to discover what he died of. Gee do you think it was poison or two 500 pound super bombs that crashed on his head? Zarqawi was so DANGEROUS the U.S Government must do an autopsy on him to make sure he’s dead and to insure to the world that he wasn’t an alien spawn from Planet Mega Terror. He must of been poisoned if he was able to roll off the stretcher. The story says that; he died after he looked into the eyes of the stern and hardened DELTA FORCE soldiers. I would sooner believe he might have looked down the barrel of a DELTA FORCE RIFLE; that just happened to have accidentally gone off. Oh, but we saw pictures of his face on television and he was dead? But they didn’t show the rest of his body, if there was a body. How old were those pictures? It didn’t look like Zarqawi to me. It looked like the poor soul of a dead bearded Iraqis, Jordanian, or who ever.
How can anyone believe the words of the same people who admitted that Zarqawi was a PSYOP plan to begin with? He was just a ploy to scare the Iraqis and Americans into believing he was the real Boogey man; when all along the Boogey men were every member of the Bush and Blair government and anyone else who profits from the Iraq war.
Now that the official story of Osama Bin Laden s death has been stated by the White House Osama s usefulness as a Psyops program has come to an end. No one seems to care that less than 100 Al-Qaida members remain in Afghanistan and according to the Pentagon Americans are still fighting and dying to capture and kill the rest. At a cost of over three trillion dollars and 60,000 U.S lives and 100,000 wounded, not to mention the nearly one million Afghanis and one million Iraqis who have lost their lives over the last 10 years, there is still no end to U.S involvement in the Iraq or Afghanistan. As the U.S Congress now fights vehemently over raising the debt ceiling, congress has still not addressed cutting the funding for these wars. No one in the Main stream media dares to mention that over 50 % of our national budget is spent on defense, or that the U.S is currently deploying hundreds of thousands of troops, and operating over 1000 military bases around the world. No country in the world other than the U.S spends 50 % of its national budget on defense. All other countries in the world combined do not spend what the U.S spends yearly on defense. Why is this? Because the U.S government and its people are completely owned and controlled by the Military Industrial Complex, and the Federal Reserve and our entire Keynesian economy is based upon military spending and a war economy. My small state of Connecticut is home for two of the largest military contractors in the country and perhaps the world. United Technologies and Electric Boat employ hundreds of thousands of Connecticut residents and subcontract to hundreds of smaller military supply related businesses. Without continual war the U.S economy would be devastated, however even with continual war
the costs in dollars and worldwide devastation have become prohibitive, and the fall of the U.S economy is inevitable. Many doomsayers and financial experts are predicting the U.S and world economic collapse by the end of 2011, and yet Americans and their government continue to spend more than they receive and depend on credit for more than 50 percent of their annual spending. Our current 14 trillion dollar debt is unpayable at any rate of interest. Our national public and private debt is over 53 trillion dollars. The absurdity of that figure can only be realized when it is understood that only 14 trillion dollars of actual American fiat currency is in print and all that is printed are Federal Reserve Notes payable to the Federal Reserve. That is all there is. It is not just the U.S government and people that exist on debt, but also all the other countries in the world. No country is exempt of debt. Every industrialized country in the world with the exception of China is hemorrhaging in debt. The European Union is failing as currently six of its members are near bankruptcy, Spain, Portugal, Greece, Ireland, Italy and France. Iceland already went bust and now after Fukashima Japan is nearing bankruptcy and the U.S Treasury Bonds have just recently been devalued by all the major credit rating agencies.
The world has gone beyond the precipice of reason and plummeted into the abyss of chaos and madness. The evidence of this fatal fall is everywhere. The revolutions in the Middle East , though instigated by the U.S and other western countries has once again caused a Blow Back effect against the U.S and has entangled our foreign policy in a no win situation of growing anti American resentment and growing insurgencies. With the abysmal debt crisis at home and the looming international financial crisis abroad, few military and financial resources are left to stave off the civil unrests in the anti American and NATO countries, who have foolishly gathered their weakened forces in the current Libyan conflict. The international threat of Terrorism is fabricated by the Western countries due to their need to create continual war, to fool the people and militaries with reasons for continual war, and stripping of individual freedoms. Osama is dead and has been for 10 years, but the wars instigated by the West and continued since 9/11 are still in process without any sign of ending. It is time to end these conflicts and restore sanity to the Middle East and American foreign and domestic policy. There is no other choice, no other way out, except to get out.
The United States is without a doubt the most violent nation on earth. History proves this, yet Americans insist on denying their violent history or justifying it, by racism,government sponsored genocide and imperialistic national policy. The doctrine of Manifest Destiny was the most arrogant, imperialistic and oppressive doctrine ever instituted by any government, resulting in the genocide of 60 million indigenous people. “The only good injun is a dead injun.” This doctrine became instilled in the psyche of the American people and became the ingrained motivation taught in all elementary and secondary schools, promoted by television and radio and movies, and repeated daily by students through out the country in the Pledge of Allegiance. “I pledge allegiance to the Flag and the United States of America and to the Republic for which it stands, one nation under God indivisible with liberty and justice for all.” With liberty and justice for who? Not for the majority of people in this country. Definitely not for anyone who isn’t a white American. Absolutely not for anyone who opposes or even questions the domestic or foreign policies of this country.
Few if any nations have ever had as many of it’s leaders assassinated as the U.S has. Few if any nations have inflicted as much military and economic power throughout the world as the U.S has. Few if any other nation has killed through war, genocide and economic sanctions more people than the U.S has. Few if any other countries have over 3 million of its citizens incarcerated. Few if any nations have as high a violent crime rate as the U.S has. No nation in history has ever spent half of its national budget on military spending. No nations’ leaders , except the U.S has ever stated that”We are the policeman of the world.” No nation other than Nazi Germany and the U.S has ever preemptively attacked another nation without provocation and established a national doctrine to do so. If the U.S government authorizes this aggressive war mongering foreign policy, without majority opposition from its people, how can anyone deny that the U.S is the most violent and militaristic nation in the world? How can any rational thinking human being deny the arrogant and imperialistic character of the American people?
I am constantly amazed at the ability of the American people to consciously deny every aspect of their own violent behaviors when the evidence is so clearly apparent that Americans are the most violent people in the world. Our military speaks of the death of innocent victims from their military operations as “collateral damage.” We continue to use depleted uranium ammunition to fight our imperialist wars around the world, contaminating entire civilizations with radioactive pollution, that kills and deforms all present and future generations of children and adults in these embattled countries, exposing our own military men and women to radiation caused diseases, and denying them the truth about their exposure, and denying them proper medical and disability benefits upon their return home. Any sane individual must ask why these munitions are manufactured , though they are supposedly banned by international treaties, and why are they being used by a nation who so arrogantly pronounces its desire for freedom, liberty and democracy, and so hypocritically criticizes other nations for human rights violations?
The U.S has once again attacked a foreign nation in the guise of “Bringing democracy to the Middle East.” The U.S led invasion of Libya is again a preemptive strike against a non threatening nation. This is wrong. This is unjust. This is an abuse of military power against a sovereign nation. This is an unauthorized declaration of war on a weak nation, led by the most powerful nation in the world. Qaddafi poses no threat to the world or to the U.S , Qaddafi is and has been the leader of Libya for 40 years. Even after his notorious known sponsoring of terrorism for the last 30 years, no one has attempted to remove him from power. As we attack Libya our “Allie” Israel has been funding and soliciting over 50,000 mercenaries to support Qaddafi. The Israeli military and government is entirely supported by the U.S. Why would we want to support Qaddafi by supplying him with mercenaries to fight his own people and then attack him? This is the insanity of our leaders and our foreign policy. We fight and supply both sides of every conflict to keep our military industrial complex alive and well. The U.S economy is completely dependent upon the manufacturing and sales of larger and more deadly weapons. Trillions of U.S taxpayer dollars are spent for endless wars and conflicts throughout the world, without any objections by our Congress or the complicit national media. They understand that U.S sponsored death and destruction around the world is the backbone of the U.S economy and the avenue best used to vent outwards the inherent violence of the American people, to prevent Americans from venting their violence inward and destroying their own government and themselves.
On Sunday 3/20/11 I stood on the Green in Litchfield Connecticut with 30 other American citizens protesting the attack against Libya and all the wars the U.S has entered into and still is involved in during the last decade.We were all aware that we were under close surveillance by the State Police, and other agencies as we peacefully gathered and held signs denouncing the wrongful American military involvements. We proudly stood for peace and our constitutional rights of Freedom of Speech and Peaceful Assembly, while being closely watched and photographed by armed policemen sitting in their vehicles. But we continued our protest for several hours, remaining resistant and indifferent to the obvious police intimidation. On 3/20/03 the U.S attacked Iraq under the euphemistic name of Operation Enduring Freedom, on the same date eight years later the U.S launched another preemptive attack against Libya , euphemistically named “Odyssey Dawn” with little outrage by the American people. 100 courageous Americans were arrested when they refused to leave the gates of the White House during their protest on 3/19/11. None of this was mentioned by the network news sources. Nothing has been reported about these arrests since in the main stream media.
I am resolved to stand until I can no longer stand, then I will sit or lay or crawl to continue protesting the U.S involvement in these unjust wars. Those who do not are admitting their indifference. Those who do not are admitting their own guilt and ignorance. Those who do not protest their government’s involvement in the world wide massacre of their fellow human beings are guilty of war crimes and crimes against humanity. Americans will be judged by the world for their crimes against humanity, and when they are, neither their powerful military or their own personal arsenal will be able to protect them from world justice.
A proud people are now in peril. The hell of nuclear disaster again threatens their nation. The remedy can only be hoped for. The nightmare to come can only be imagined. Living within 100 miles of two active nuclear power plants and knowing full well their volatility I must live in denial believing they are safe. The demonic vision of nuclear energy is too horrible to comprehend. No insurance company in the world will insure a nuclear plant. No nation is prepared to save its people or prevent the massive loss of lives if another Chernobyl or Fukishima event occurs. The greatest lie told by world governments and the Nuclear Industry is ” Nuclear power is safe”.
I laughed this morning at the ignorance of Bob Herbert the New York Times columnist who appeared on MSNBC’s Morning Joe. He stated that “The United States government would never lie to its people about a national disaster. ” What a fool. What a spin doctor. That is why he writes for the New York Times. I can name at least 10 major national disasters that occurred within the last ten years in the United States; where the government and the media were totally complicit in lying to the American people. 911, “The air in New York is safe to breathe” , The Iraq war, The Afghanistan War, The Gulf Oil Spill, Katrina, 2000 and 2004 Presidential Elections, Support for Israel’s brutal occupation of Palestine, the denial of Chemtrails and geoengineering the weather. The list of lies goes on and on. The 12.5 Trillion dollars unreported by the Federal Reserve given to bail out foreign banks. The arrangement between Obama and BP in 4/20/09 to exempt BP from new offshore drilling regulations. The arrangement of Obama and all Pharmaceutical companies not to allow price bargaining by Medicare or Obamacare. The censorship of the Bush I and 2 administrations on all information leading to the Gulf 1 and Gulf 2 wars. The lies and deceit of Bill Clinton, and his destruction of the American Middle Class by instituting NAFTA. The list of lies is endless, yet we allow idiot pundits like Bob Herbert and Joe Scarborough and other known national morons to insult the intelligence of all well informed Americans.
This is a prayer for the Japanese who have suffered more than any other nation for the lies and deceit of its own government and the lies of the Nuclear Industry. May they survive this recent disaster and thrive again as a people and an economy. May the demonic hordes of nuclear salesmen representing their demonic corporations fall in the abyss of their greed and deception. May the world never again see the building of a nuclear power plant, and may all existing nuclear power plants be dismantled and nuclear power forever banned from the earth.
The only new national and international news is old news. It never seems to be new. I read today that France’s Sarkozy doesn’t like Obama anymore but according to last year’s news sources he never really did. It appears that no one really likes or trusts Obama, even in the U.S. Polls show Obama’s Love ratings are down around 40%. Few Americans bother to listen to his speeches anymore. The last few I’ve heard sounded a lot like G.W Bush except for the AAHHS and UUUGHs. Actually I can’t believe I’m saying this but I miss G.W Bush. I had developed such a repulsion to G.W that I realize now that I almost enjoyed watching the idiot speak. Obama just makes me sick.
It is time to bring up the old news and make it new news again. It is time to review 911, the Afghan invasion and the Iraq invasion I and 2. It is time to revisit the crimes against humanity by the Bush I and 2 administrations and begin to look seriously at the crimes committed by the Obama administration. It is time to audit the Federal Reserve and ask why the chief executives of the FHA are recieving multi million dollar bonuses authorized by the Obama White house. It is time for everyone to turn off their television sets and see if they begin to think differently. They will be surprised at the clarity of mind they will receive. It is time for everyone to recollect the lies and deceptions they have been subjected to over the last many years by their government and the mainstream media. It is time now to make the old news new news, which would be very easy if Americans and people around the world were told the truth.
MUMBAI MR. OBAMA? AN OPEN LETTER TO PRESIDENT OBAMA

Good bye Mr. Obama I hope you fare well on your trip to Mumbai India and Indonesia and any other place you intend to visit in the next ten days. As an American citizen who voted for you in 2008, I am concerned by your recent decision to visit Mumbai. It seems to me that it is such an obscure place in the world to warrant your personal attention with an official visit; especially at such an exorbitant cost to the American taxpayer. A recent estimate of 200 million dollars a day was made public in the news media for the cost of your 10 day excursion. I have waited patiently for an official White House cost estimate of your visit , however none so far has been announced, other than a vague disagreement by your press secretary that the cost is considerably less, but he so far has not given any cost verification.
I am not a Public Relations expert, however if I was I would never have advised a trip to Mumbai India. Of all the places in the world that need your attention, Mumbai is the least important. It was reported on a network news report recently that your expected return to the American people for this visit, is approximately 50,000 new high tech jobs for the U.S. but I have to wonder if that is for U.S workers or for U.S companies who intend to outsource 50,000 new jobs to India. Your visit to Indonesia is even more strange to me especially since they are experiencing the fallout of an active volcano and devastating monsoons. What possible high level Presidential visit could justify your travels to a devastated country. You could have more cheaply gone to Haiti, to draw attention to their terrible plight, but no instead you leave the U.S and the Western Hemisphere, incurring astronomical expenses to the American taxpayer during a period of economic devastation. I can not understand your thinking Mr. Obama. It makes very little sense to me. Perhaps your “brilliant” staff can explain it, but from what I’ve heard so far , they do not have any good explanation for your actions. If this is how you operate as the Chief Executive , I greatly fear for my country. In all sincerity Mr. Obama, it appears to me that you might very well be as incompetent or perhaps even more so than your immediate predecessor, which I thought was an impossibility, that anyone could be as hapless and incompetent as he was.
The recent loss of the Democratic majority in Congress during the recent midterm elections would appear to me to be a devastating blow to your future, and the future of America, however based upon your travel itinerary and your seeming indifference to the midterm election results I guess it doesn’t matter to you. Your recent conversations of appeasements to the Republican leaders of the House and Senate seem to me somewhat worrisome. I must ask why would you congratulate and communicate with the members of Congress who have publicly stated they want to impeach you, and insure you will not receive a second term in office? This makes little sense to me, especially since I voted for you in 2008. I did so because I thought you might bring “Change” to Washington, but that has not happened so far. In fact you have been more embedded with corporate lobbyists and Wall Street bankers than your predecessor. I am extremely disappointed in you Mr. Obama. I am completely amazed at how seemingly incompetent you are. But what concerns me more than all else I have spoken about so far is that you seem to have no backbone Mr. Obama, no leadership ability, and no common sense. As much as I despise the Republican Party and have little regard for the Democrats, I as an Independent cast my vote in 2008 for you. I could never have voted for your opponent John McCain, however if I had known that you were going to be such a sorry President of the American people, I would have thrown my vote away to an obscure write in candidate.
I read one of your books. The Dream of my Father. I thought it was a good book and an interesting autobiography. But since the writing of your book , it appears that you are not the same person who wrote it. I understand that it was 15 years ago, and much has changed in your life, but the basic integrity of the man who wrote this book, did not seem to remain with you. I understand that many compromises must be made by politicians to achieve high office, however that is not my concern. My concern is what compromises you have made with yourself, that you could so turn away from the American people by cowering to your apparent enemies. To be frank with you Mr. Obama, you frighten the hell out of me. Your Goldman Sachs friends appear to have bought you and sold you as stock on Wall Street, to the highest or lowest bidder and your appointment of . Bernanke to the Federal Reserve and Geitner to Treasury Secretary shows that you are ready to allow the entire U.S economy to collapse. I must ask if this was your plan all along ? Was this what you were told to do by your puppeteers and why you were ushered in as President. The planners of your campaign and public relations were brilliant, but as soon as you got into office , it appears that they left you or had spent their entire genius on getting you elected, and now are complete idiots, who have advised you in the worst ways possible, unless you have completely stopped listening to them. Either way it appears that this trip to Mumbai and other irrelevant places on the planet are a Presidential and public relations fiasco, as were the midterm elections, the BP Gulf Coast disaster and everything else you have done since you were elected.
So Mumbai Mr. Obama. It appears that your status as President of the U.S has been diminished beyond repair. Either it is the results of your incompetence and indifference to your office and the American people or that of your advisors it really doesn’t matter now. Little can be done to repair your credibility. It is a shame and a tragedy to continue to watch you fail and to have to write this public letter to you. But I would be dishonest if I did not speak out regarding these issues. I would be unpatriotic to simply accept your weak and poor leadership in the face of such adversity facing my country. I do not know how to respond to America’s disappointment with your disastrous presidency any other way. I can only suggest that you either show far more integrity and strength during the remainder of your term in office or your Republican and non American enemies will destroy you and what remains of the United States.
