MSNBC AND NBC’S MORNING JOKES

I have been tuning into the early morning programs recently on MSNBC and NBC. The most bizarre morning show is “Morning Joe”staring Joe, Mika and Willie, formerly known as Moe, Larry and Curley. There is nothing note worthy about this program other than it replaced Imus after his racial slur against the Rutgers’ women’s basketball team. This trio of co-hosts make up one of the strangest programs on television.

Perhaps the most bizzare aspect of the program isn’t it’s cluster of cackling , conservative commentators but rather it’s crazy , sustained camera shot of the Siamese twins Mika and Joe. Who ever thought up that camera shot of both of them sitting together in an obviously uncomfortable closeness should be shot for director incompetence. The question that comes to mind every time I tune in to this program is , why does Mika keep crowding Joe and seems to be continually reaching down towards his crotch ? Is this some kind of suggestive programming or is Mika stroking Joe’s leg every morning? Also it seems funny that Joe, and any other unlucky guy who has to sit next to Mika always seems to be straining to sit as far away from her as possible, while staying within the tight camera frame. I have to wonder if she is stroking them also. .

Mika had to have gotten her job because of her father Big Z’s clout. She has very little talent and never shows her legs(which is a prereq for morning show anchor women.) I haven’t heard anything relevant come from this show since I’ve been watching it, with the exception of Pat Buchanan recently defending the Palestinians in Gaza.

NBC’s Today Show is about as bizarre as Morning Joe, with the exception of my favorite morning co host Amy Robuck. She sucks all the oxygen out of the room as soon as she is on camera. She is engaging, attractive and sexy and overshadows the entire Today Show cast. I can’t understand anyone’s attraction to Meridith Vierra the Today Show’s 20 million dollar replacement for Katie Couric. NBC should pay her off and replace her with Amy and I guarantee their ratings would go through the roof. Morning Joe should get rid of Mika and make it an all guy show again. She really doesn’t add anything to the program and is too stupid to keep up with conversations, and isn’t attractive enough for any red blooded American male to want to watch her. She reminds men of the bitchy blonde co-worker they have to deal with during the day or the nagging wife they can’t wait to leave in the morning. .

My advice to NBC and MSNBC program directors and executives is to ditch Mika , let Joe anchor the show by himself, and ditch Meridith and add Amy to the Today Show regular cast of characters. CNN and Fox are rising in the ratings lately with their obvious attention to detail and awareness of their audiences,who enjoy watching extremely made over, fashion conscious anchor women, resembling sexy secretaries and personal assistants,who aren’t afraid to show off their legs or wear tight fitting clothes. I don’t mean to sound sexist, but I’m just trying to give some solid advice to these networks on how to keep men tuned in to their morning programs , rather than tune into BBC or the sports channel before they leave for work. .
