NEW YORK TIMES EDITORIALS ARE FREE AND ANONYMOUS; BECAUSE NO ONE WOULD PAY TO READ THEM, AND NO ONE WANTS TO TAKE CREDIT FOR WRITING THEM.

I receive the New York Times by email. I seldom look at it anymore and simply delete it as it comes in. I don’t really know why I bother with it at all. I should unsubscribe. Maybe I don’t because I think of it as a farce and still get a charge out of a few of their editorials. Some of my serious journalist friends have cited so many errors and inflamatory corporate lovefests in NY Times reporting and editorials; that they consider the paper more of a comic strip than a newspaper. The American version of Pravda. I’ve read recent reports from Pravda, and they do a more accurate report on world and U.S news than the NY Times. That is a sad but true statement.

I’ve been doing my radio show now for over four years on WQQQ 103.3fm and when I started the NY Times still had a halfway decent reputation ; then the Jason Blair scandal happened and the the world discovered that Judith Miller was a White House massage therapist disguising as a reporter. I used to get a kick out of Paul Krugman’s editorials; until I emailed him one day asking him if he would do an interview my show. He responded quickly with an automatic reply; that was rude enough for me to consider him a hack ever since. His reply was ,”I don’t respond to emails, if I did I’d never have time to do anything else.” My email reply to him was “Then why the fuck do you have an email for readers to contact you ?” A few days afterwards I heard him interviewed on NPR. I was thankful I didn’t have him on my show. He has a high pitched voice that sounds like fingernails scratching a chalkboard. His books and editorials must be ghost written, or rewritten by a full time editor; because he gave a very poor interview.

I laugh everytime I walk into the local convenience store on a Sunday morning. The NY Sunday Times costs $5.00 dollars in Connecticut. It weighs 10 pounds and is four or five inches thick. The store clerks place them on the floor in twin towers, next to the check out counter. I’ve noticed very few elderly or middle age people buying the paper. No one I know has enough time, to waste their Sunday wading through 5 inches of sale flyers, NY. styles, and read every published opinion of corporate whores , and government propagandists’ distortions. Recent national television advertizements for the NYT feature five or ten actors in their 30’s touting the benefits of getting the NY Times delivered every Sunday, or every day for $3.00 a week. This ad must be representing their typical NYT reader. Most are interested in the Style section and the latest social and celebrity gossip pages. If they do read and depend on the NY Times for accurate current news, they are as poorly informed as Fox News watchers, or possibly worse.

What set me off this morning was a NY Times “Free” anonymous editorial headline I read on my email. It had failed leadership in the title. I won’t quote it so as not to give it anymore mention than it deserves. The anonymous writer was advocating the Immigration Bill and berating Congress for sabotaging it. I personally have only praise for everyone who shot it down. I praise every American citizen who raised their voice against this insane Immigration Bill. The NYT praised Ted Kennedy and all who sponsored the traitorous bill . Wanted posters of Ted Kennedy and his collaborators should be nailed to the walls of all public buildings, as traitors and globalist conspirators. The NYT has become the most irrelevant voice in America. No one with any sense or understanding of national and world events takes the NYT seriously. Anyone with an understanding of the real reason the NYT exists, or who it’s board members and backers really are, can never trust anything printed in the New York Times.
