Washington D.C Protest Photographs from 1/18/2003 and 9/24/2005

The following statement is the opening quote from the first paragraph of my book “Naked at the Mic / The Survival of a Liberal in a Time of Peril.

” It was nearly zero degrees in D.C on January 18th,2003 but Leila and I were warmed by our anger and the anger of 500,000, committed and courageous American patriots marching together in one remarkable display of democracy, and First Amendment rights. The invasion of Iraq was going to happen, we all knew it, but all we could do was be there to shout and march, few if any of us realized what would become of the U.S Constitution and the country in just a few short months.

It was the day later on 1/19/03 when we arrived home when we realized the American “Free” main stream media was completely controlled by the Bush Government. They totally ignored the largest gathering of protesters in Washington D.C since the Vietnam protests. Every media war monger was fully exposed to the world as they heralded the Iraq War from every radio and television studio in the country. Idiots, criminals, thieves and hypocrites of the worst kind were given the run of the media as pundits. The propaganda push was everywhere and any intelligent, liberty loving, liberal American was lashing obscenities at his television, radio and newspaper. Every patriotic, peace loving, American was horrified and stupefied by the pro war conservative insanity they were hearing and seeing, coming from the main stream media nonstop every hour of every day…”. ____________________________________________________________________

The following No War Series, were photographs taken from my two televised documentaries about the 1/18/2003 and 9/24/2005 Washington D.C protests. Very little news coverage was given to these protest rallies, which were two of the largest Washington D.C protests in U.S history. The U.S invaded Iraq on 3/20/2003, since then three trillion dollars have been spent on the war and 11 years later has cost hundreds of thousands of Iraqi lives, three million Iraqi refugees, and nearly 100 thousand American soldiers have been wounded or killed in the needless war. G.W Bush and his administration have been indicted by world courts for war crimes and genocide in Iraq and Afghanistan. These great anti war protests may not have meant anything to the outcome of the wars, but it meant everything to the Americans who were there to protest the Bush Administration’s failed policy.  For further history regarding these two events please refer to my several articles following this photographic presentation.

An interesting discussion is worth comment. There’s no doubt that that
you should publish more on this subject matter, it might not be a
taboo subject but generally people do not discuss such issues.
    To the next! Kind regards!!
