Americans are following the wrong dream.
It is not a happy dream.
It is a bad dream,
that will lead us to ruin.
The American Dream is not happy anymore,
because it is unattainable to many more than before.
It is now only attainable if you are a bankster,
illegal alien or corporate whore.
Honest dreams of wealth and fame
are no longer the dreams of Americans.
Now Americans dream of keeping their homes,
and having enough food to feed their own.
Let the rockets glare
and bombs burst in the air,
for millions of Americans
the American Dream is gone.
Strike up the drums. Strike up the band.
Give Congress and the President a big hand
for shutting down the government, and
destroying the dreams of millions of Americans.
