THE GOP PRIMARY DEBATES OR THE RETURN OF THE 10 STOOGES.
5/4/07
I forced myself to watch 10 minutes of last night’s GOP Primary Debates. I didn’t expect anything to come out of these debates. I had no expectations of seeing any leadership potential from any of the 10 stooges. I was right. The total honesty and leadership ability of the entire 10 candidates wasn’t enough to fill a shot glass.
The Republican’s have nothing to run on,but the revised and desparate legacy of Ronald Reagan. The last guy to win from a Reagan love fest was G.W Bush. If that isn’t enough to make any American gag, then maybe those who loved the name of RR, watched the entire RR lovefest, at the RR Memorial Library. Maybe those who loved RR projected their undying Reagan Republican Love onto one of the 10 stooges. Some pundit said Mitt Romney was pushing the RR love thing the farthest. Others have referred to McCain as the Manchurean Candidate. T.Thompson (Mr. Verichip) hopes to implant a microchip into everyone’s arm by 2009. Guiliani or (Mayor 911) has absolutely nothing going for him. Ever wonder why building 7 at the WTC was considered the safest building in New York, and housed Guiliani’s safety bunker; yet it was the only skyscraper in the world to have ever collapsed due to fire. If the city was under attack why was Guilliani hanging around on the streets after the attack? Why wasn’t Rudy boy in his safety bunker? We all can imagine the kind of appointments he would make to his cabinet considering his grand referral of his former driver, appointed Police Commissioner, “Taser man” Kerik for Director of Homeland Security.
I’m not saying that the Democrats have any winners either. Obama, Hillary, Biden, Dodd, Edwards, Kucinich and any other laughable liberal who decides to run. It isn’t that anyone lacks presidential ambition, even I have announced my candidacy as an independent. What is lacking in all this pre primary, pre election bull is honesty, real ideas and integrity. Not one of the GOP candidates has any of these virtues. I don’t think any of the Democrats do either. I’m still expecting a wild card candidate to enter the race. Gore may be drafted, but that would be a serious waste of time.
I’m not looking forward to another year and a half of these public admissions of incompetence by 20 or more presidential hopefuls. Choosing a candidate from this bunch is like choosing a card from a magician’s deck. The magician knows what card you will pick, before you pick it; because every card in the deck is the same card.
