Richard Grossman’s 2003 Holley House Lecture on his new book “A Year with Emerson”

This program was filmed on 7/5/2003 at the Holley House Museum. Richard Grossman published his book “A Year with Emerson” which is an almanac of 365 days with famous inspirational daily quotes from Emerson’s work. Richard was an Emersonian Scholar who devoted over 40 years of his life to studying Emerson and try to implement the many truths Emerson expressed in his own writing, and relate them to his readers and patients. Richard was a well respected psychiatrist with his office in Salisbury,Ct. Richard passed away several years ago, but also released another book on the works of Emerson entitled “The Tao of Emerson”. published by Random House in 2007.
