This program is a tribute to the citizens of Salisbury,Ct., who displayed the patriotism of their Revolutionary community , celebrating Memorial Day, May 27, 2002. This was the first Memorial Day after the 911 attack on the WTC in 2001. One of the veterans we interviewed had just returned from Afghanistan.

Its forges produced the majority of canon balls and canons used by the Revolutionary Army.
