There can not be any candidates further apart in philosophies or life styles that Bernie Sanders and Donald Trump. Sanders is asking for small donations , Trump is self funding his campaign and selling his brand of raw steaks in Florida for $50.00 a piece, to his wealthy club members during his victory speech. I have to laugh at Donald Trump. He just won three states last night in the primaries and for his victory speech he flies to Florida and decides to show off his personal line of products he sells at his Country Club , where member fees are $100,000 a year. This is such a crazy election year. Feed and provide healthcare to the hungry poor and middle classes with Bernie, or feed the One Percents’ fat faces at Donald’s Florida country clubs..
I appears by Donald Trump’s popularity in the polls, many Americans like his bold and brash displays of wealth, and his opulent lifestyle, and disregard his public displays of Love and Concern for poor people in America, or elsewhere. It all comes down to reasonable intelligence and compassion for a presidential candidate. A presidential candidate must have, or at least appear to have, true intelligence and compassion ,to be a great president.
Selling a raw piece of meat , to his wealthy friends was a symbolic gesture for the audience and media that covered his speech. He appeared to be saying to wealthy donors who want to donate to his campaign, “Here buy a steak and a bottle of my wine , that’s all I’ll let you buy from me.” I thought it was a rude gesture, but Trump is the King of Rudeness and political incorrectness. I was surprised he didn’t throw the steaks at people sitting in his audience, but he did throw a Trump for President 2016 Calendar, at someone in his audience.
I hope Trump wins Ohio and Florida, then America can finally be rid of Cruz ,Rubio and Kasich from our television screens once and for all, and revel at the death of the Republican Party, while we enjoy , with a bowl of popcorn, watching Donald Trump trash Bernie and Hillary, and them trashing him the rest of the year.
