REMEMBERING TONY SNOW

REMEMBERING TONY SNOW

7/15/08

Tony Snow former Whitehouse Press Secretary died recently from cancer. It was a tragic way to go. Regardless of who he was or what his reasons for working for the Bush Regime were, is now irrelevant. Death is the great equalizer and no one has ever conquered it for long.

I wrote an essay a year ago about the several G.W. Press Secretaries and what a lousy job it was. I felt then that Tony Snow , who had just recovered from colon cancer and was in remission wouldn’t last long in his new position as Press Secretary. I stated that everyone who had taken the position as the Presidential Liar for the G.W. Bush administration was doomed . I feel sorry for Mr. Snow and his family, but he decided to take the position, at a tremendous pay cut from his previous job at Fox, and adding ten times the stress as G.W’s Press Secretary. It was obviously a very bad career move.

I have no doubt that Mr. Snow was a patriotic American. I have no doubt that he was sincere in his desire to help his country by serving it as its Presidential spokeman, but just as so many good hearted patriots have been duped by G.W Bush, so was Tony Snow. His death was just another death to be added to the growing death toll of patriotic Americans who died needlessy serving their country , devoting their strengths and abilities to defend the corrupt and insane leadership of G.W. Bush’s administration.

Tony Snow is an American Hero and should be remembered for his ultimate sacrifice to his country. Let his tragic death be a symbol and warning to all patriotic Americans who are serving their country , that to suffer death or injury in the service of one’s country is a great and noble sacrifice, defending the wicked policies of a madman and corrupt administration with your own integrity, and patriotism is foolish and dangerous. All good conscience would tell anyone to stay far away from the G.W. Bush Whitehouse. All good sense would tell anyone to stay out of the military and refuse to fight G.W’s wrongful wars. Tony Snow was an American Hero , who gave his life in service of his country. What he did or what lies he might have been forced to tell in his position as G.W.’s Press Secretary, was no different than the bullets shot at Iraqis or Afghanistan civilians or insurgents by a member of the American military. They were and are doing their jobs and swore oaths to serve and defend their country. But swearing allegience to G.W. Bush or anyone in his corrupt administration is absolutely foolish, when they know they will only be used as fodder for G.W. Bush’s canons.
